Renee stole items we had at our club for a fundraiser rummage sale. Renee picked through every box that came in and kept what she wanted. When she quit she stole agility equipment. Renee also worked at Cleveland All Breed Training Center and stole 5 gallon containers of soap to clean floors and paper products to bring to our club to use.
Renee kept 100% of the money made (Over $100 per session) for playdates agility run through's and promised to buy agility equipement for the club but kept the money, except for one tunnel she purchased and stole the day she left. She kept thousands of dollars.
Renee still owes for the Bud Houston Agility workshop she booked and never paid to attend. Renee booked this workshop promising us it would make money. The club LOST money because so few wanted to attend. Many of the people that did attend hated the workshop and said they were belittled at it.
When Renee started working for our club she charged us 50% of the take of each class.
We could never prove it, because Renee covered her tracks, but we belive Renee had people in her classes that paid and she pocketed the money.
Renee would steal items for her own use from our store, dog food, treats and toys. She never paid for them.
Renee did all this after we paid for 2 of her dogs cremations and collected money from club members to help pay for her many dogs expenses.
Renee is not trust worthy from our experience in dealing with her. She stole from us and took advatage of us. She stole from CABTC as well. We know because she took items from CABTC and gave them to us.

I happened upon this and can state that Renee was over her head teaching anythng but beginners. The agility equipment wasn't very good at the club and the space was too small. If Renee kept all the money from playdates and other events with the purpose of purchasing more agility equipement, except for a tunnel and rubberizing the pause table, the equipment never materialized. And yes, she did eat her dinner in front of the class, often times food coming out of her mouth when she spoke. I think a trainer should know not to eat in fromt of a bunch of dogs...but I guess not this trainer.
The agility workshop was pretty bad from what I heard, I wasn't there. One very young girl was picked on to the point of tears.
If Renee did steal from CABTC and the club I hope someone files charges for theft and fraud. Same thing goes with keeping the money from playdates and not purchasing equipement as she said she would. That is fraud.
It all makes more sense now.

I wonder how Renee feels having her name posted in a negative fashion in the web. She stood by and did nothing when it happened to her friend. The big difference is what is posted here is 100% accurate, true and well documented. Maybe we should start a 'fund' so other people come forward with info about Renee. karma

In Renee's defense, the people who took the classes at the club had no prior agility experience. Rene had never run a dog in anything but teacup, never USDAA. There was only one person I know of that took an agility class with any real experience. That person said took the class just to have a place for her dog to run. She often stated that she learned nothing from Renee and it was obvious she knew more then Renee about agility. But for the other 99% of people who took Renee's classes, Renee did okay, other then eating her dinner in front of the class while she was teaching.
I don't know how Renee could have receipts for everything she took from the store. It was a regular occurrence for her to take bags of treats and use them for training dogs in the classes she taught. Receipts for things she purchased from the rummage sale? I doubt it. Renee always had treats and items for her own dogs from the club store.
I liked Renee and thought her agility classes were okay for beginners that knew nothing. Her obedience and puppy classes were pretty bad. The owner had to come to class and show her what to do.
I had also heard that Renee went to Columbus for the club and was paid more then the people doing demo's and used the owners van to go. Renee had car trouble on the way back. The van had to be towed and of course fixed. The mechanic said the van was just out of gas, fuel pump and gas gauge were tested and everything worked fine. So she was paid for going to the event and too cheap to put gas in it, and intended to bring the van back bone empty of gas? This speaks volumes about Renee to me.
What i did find very interesting is how Renee flipped. She blamed Elaine from another club for the low attendance at the Agility Seminar because she stated Elaine told her club member if they attended, "don't come back", but then she referred members there when the club closed.
There is a big difference between being the owner of the club and doing everything you could to make it work and teaching classes and doing everything you could to make a profit for yourself. I believe Renee was the latter. A defense of "She did this, so I'm innocent" doesn't mean anything but that she is skirting the blame she needs to own up to.

I assume the comment left with the heading "Liar" is Renee Roth. I noticed she had no comment about stealing items from CABTC, keeping all the money from playdates, agility run throughs and open dock. No response for taking such a large percentage of class money when she knew the club couldn't afford it. No response for lifting items donated for the rummage sale. That says a lot.
"Well, 'She' did this" seems to be Renee's defense for her failings. "She' was held accountable for anything that went awry, Renee was not. Renee may have even had a role in burying the owner, to protect herself. Afterall, it was Renee's friend who posted a blog with the comment, "We have started a fund for anyone with information or the club owes money." I would bet no one was paid a penny from that 'fund'. That blog was overkill with one intent, to ruin a person and close a club.
I too wonder how differently things would have been if Renee would have stolen and kept so much of the money the club made in playdates, agility run thoughs and open dock. I hope someday, Renee is held accountable.
Oh, and Renee's agility classes sucked. Between her eating her dinner in front of the class for 30 minutes, with food dribbling out of her mouth while she spoke to the class, and her lack of anything but Teacup agility it was a waste of money.

I always thought there was more to the story of the club then we heard about. I am happy to see all of it finally coming out. I had heard Renee initally charged the club 65% of the take from classes, knowing it was more then they could afford. If Renee did keep all the money from playdates, agilty runs and open dock that comes to thousands of dollars. I also heard that Renee and 2 of her friends never paid the money for the Patricia McConnnell speech and dinner but don't know if that is true. The owner was nothing but good to Renee, even raising money for her dogs care and paying for her dogs cremations herself. Renee left her hanging out to dry. I wonder what the finacial state of the club would have been if Renee didn't rip them off. Shame on you Renee.

I know of this report to be true. Renee charged the club a fortune to teach there when she trained for a free class at Cleveland All Breed. Renee helped put the club under and then left the owner holding the bag. The club lost money at the workshop she promised would make money and she didn't pay for her spots. She also kept all of any money collected for dock jumping opens. Between pocketing all the money for playdates, open dock and agility and classes, Renee took the club for every cent she could and ran when things got bad, leaving the owner holding the bag.

I cannot begin to list all the items Renee took from the store with a promise to pay for them, which she never did. Water bottles, beds, treats, toys...anything she wanted, she took.
Renee, you can have your own opinons, but not your own facts.

Yes the club went under and the owner was held responsible for the bills, but that is because people like Renee Roth ripped the club off.
Fact: Renee STOLE 5 gallon containers of floor cleaning soap from CABTC (not full) and bought them to OAD to clean the floors. She stole paper supplies from CABTC for OAD events, hot dog holders come to mind. Where are the receipts for that? We still have the containers you bought over.
Fact: Renee stole donated items for our rummage sale, bicylces for her neices and nephews, hiking shoes, quilts, purses and more.
Fact: Renee pocketed 100% of the proceeds from playdates and agility run thru's on the condition she would buy agility equipment for the club, which came to thousands of dollars, she purchased one tunnel, which she stole when she left. ALL the playdates sign up sheets are available, the numbers don't match.
Fact: Bud Houstons hotel room did not come to half of the $300 owed to the club for Renee's spots in the workshop. Renee made pulled pork for the meal. She did NOT ask people to bring food, like she said was going to, and the club ended up paying for food for Sunday of the workshop. Renee told us the club would make money on this workshop. The club LOST money due to low attendance.
It is no wonder why the club went under and the owner of the club held responisble when thieves like Renee were a part of it. Renee left other holding the bag for what she did. These are the facts. A lie detector test would prove who is lying.

This person is a liar. I bought and have the receipts for everything I bought for Ohio Air Dogs. Yes Ohio Air Dogs!!!!!
I have absolutely no knowledge of K9Agiltiy in Cleveland Hts. The person putting this up was arrested for several different things and would like to put the blame on someone.
The items I supposedly took were taken off the amount owed to me. I paid for Bud Houstons hotel room as my payment for the seminar along with taking him to dinner. I paid for some of the food for the event.
As for the donations given to me by club member for the expense with my pets totaled $70.00. If there was more it was pocketed by OAD.
If you would like to look up in on this so called person go to Cuyahoga County Clerk of Courts but first you would need to know the owner of Ohio Air Dogs that is a easy google search.
