Hello. I am experiencing a living nightmare everyday. Due to purchasing a bed from Rent A Center, that's infested with bed bugs. I contacted the store manager, he filed a claim with their claims department. The Rep from the claims dept denied the claim. I initiated a contract for the bed the second week of January 2013. The bed was delivered three days afterwards. Some time around May, I began itching a lot. I assumed I was allergic to something and left it at that. Then I was bitten a few times and assume it was mosquito bite. The third week of June 2013 is when I physically saw a bedbug on my bed. My significant other immediately took the entire bed apart. Wow what a horrible discovery; bedbugs was living inside of the wood, in between the slats opening. Every since then I have been mentally and physically traumatized behind this ordeal. The sad thing about this situation is: I paid for the bed via RAC 90 day same as cash. I don't have money to purchase a new bed and mattress set. RAC refuse to reimburse me in any shape, form, or fashion. What a hell of a loss. They can not get away with ripping me off. Therefore legal action will be sought. I hope and pray that no one has to experience this tragedy.

I am also having the same problem except it was a sectional that was infested by this nasty bug!!!! They also denied my claim and i too have hired an attorney. Dont let them keep doing this to people fight them all the way and best of luck to you and your family :( I know it isnt easy but you too will get through this as well as us !!
