Why do you need them to work with you? Why do they need to come by your house? Why not just mail them a check?

Is the other company that treats you so well named after Moses's brother? The one starting with 2 As?
Yeah, right. Have you read the reports on them here?
Nothing is going to change for the better for you as long as you're stuck in the mud as a subprime credit risk.
Maybe you should live within your means and not keep renting things you can't afford to own outright. with the savings in just a couple years from not paying double and triple what things cost to rent, you might actually be able to buy them at reasonable prices.
And your reports don't jibe. If you were never late, as you insisted later, how did you get hit with late fees?

Original post:
" they call you 15 times a day and harass you about your payments and refuse to work with you in any way when you tell them you will be in to make payments then they schedule you down for a time to be there which you never said you would do and then they tack on outrageous late fees"
Rebuttal #4
:"First off let me tell you that i do pay my payments on time it is the hassasment that i get from them every time not one time have they had to come to my house to pick up an item or collect a payment"
How can you pay "outrageous late fees" and still "i do pay my payments on time?"
I suspect they're using their experience with other deadbeats in dealing with you.
Bottom line, YOU can't set the terms of your contract with them AFTER you signed it. They just want you to pay AS you agreed.
If your credit wasn't in the toilet, you wouldn't have to rent those already high priced items from them or anyone else....DEADBEAT.

First off let me tell you that i do pay my payments on time it is the hassasment that i get from them every time not one time have they had to come to my house to pick up an item or collect a payment i just feel that if you want people to rent from them then you would not call them 15 times in one day or set up a time to have you come in without their approval i have rented from other companys like this one and at no time have they called my house for a payment or come to my house so the way i see it i will never do any dealings with rent a center again i will go to the other company the one that treats their customers right

Hi I work at RAC and we want to make your experience with us completely worry-free; that's why we don't require a deposit or a credit check, and we make sure the agreed-upon payment plan fits your needs. However, we do require that customers make payments on time. For your convenience, we offer three ways to pay - in the store, over the phone or online with ePay. We want to make this work for you, so please don't hesitate to contact Customer Care at 1-800-422-8186.

You aren't paying as agreed and they're trying to hold you to it....right?
How is it wrong to "tack on outrageous fees" and be scammers and very bad mangers by merely wanting you to pay the amount you agreed to when you agreed to?
YOU are Ripping THEM off...deadbeat.
A final note...YOU don't get to tell them how much YOU'LL pay and when YOU'LL pay it...you signed a contract and are now not holding up your end....deadbeat.

If you payed them on time, they wouldn't waste their time calling you. Problem solved.
When you say the won't "work with you", what you're really saying is that they won't let you slide on your payments. There's a good reason for that. By the time you have to resort to their ridiculously priced rent-to-own contracts, you've pretty much proven that you are not reliable when it comes to meeting your obligations. They know this and act accordingly. They're the bottom rung of the credit market. If they were inclined to "work" with everyone who stiffed them on payments, they'd be broke within a few months.
If you think other rent-to-own companies are going to "work with you", you're in for a surprise.
