Rent Verified/ Lyn Apartment rental scam California
I was taken by an ad on craigslsit and was told to use rental verified to generate a background report for the lanlord. We were supose to meet on a local apartment rental in the morning but I needed to generate this report first and e-mail it to her. Long sory short I paid 29.99 for a background report and the link never worked I called atleast 6 times and every time she just said sorry I am in billing and cannot help withy technical support, I will give you a refund. No report was ever made they just simply took out 29.99 out from my checking account and offered nothing in the means of tech support and said it would be refunded in 7-10 days. I said no you took it out in 1 minite and I want it back now!!! She apologized and said no it will be 7-10 days and hung up on me. Beware this is a scam with rental properities through craigslist.com out of Knoxville Tn2013-09-01
