Unlike the original poster, I actually advertise on the site she talking about. I'm a Realtor in southern California. I like the exposure that I get from the site and I've even got a few new customers directly from it. Now the guilty part, I have had calls from a couple of other people (even one from an agent in my own office) asking about the advertising on this site and I told them it was no good. I was being completely selfish, I like advertising on this site and I don't want anyone else advertising on there that maybe competing with me for business, so I lied. So the moral of my story is, don't call me asking for good ways to complete with me!

Thank you Katherine for your constructive comments. Just so there's no confusion, www.rentalforeclosure.com is a FREE resource for renters to use to find out if their landlord may be facing foreclosure. We do not charge renters for this service. We have, as you mentioned, been featured in many news stories highlighting our service to tenants and because of that exposure we receive 100's of thousands of visitors to our site monthly. Our website is supported by sponsor/advertisers who pay to advertise their services to the users of our site. It is unfortunate that you chose to determine the value of advertising on our site without actually being an advertiser. Hopefully this report is not just an attempt to promote another company at our expense.
