Replacementremotes have been in business since 1999 and we are always availabe during working hours at the number listed. We always respond to all emails to [email protected].. the complaint was for a remote that was shipped to South Africa... once it leaves the US we have no control. All remotes are guaranteed... we always go out of our way to satisfy our customers as we are a small family owned business, if they would have called us we would make sure they are satisfied in some way... but it is hard for us to refund and lose on the remote and shipping when we have done all the customer has requested. We have had in the past customers out of the country claim that they did not get a remote as to get their money refunded. We have no recourse but to refuse a full refund. Our site states our policy for out of country orders....

The remote this person ordered was a backordered remote and took almost 20 days to receive from our suppliers. Once we received the backordered remote and attempted to ship it to SOUTH AFRICA we determined that his address was not one that we were able to ship to. Since the transaction was over 15 days old we could not void it and did not have but the last four of his card number to refund the amount to. Once he called us to clear up the matter, and provided us a complete credit card number, we refunded him in full and resolved the matter. As far as his comment on others having similar problems with our site, this is the only negative comment I have ever been able to find about my company, www.replacementremotes.com.

Replacement remotes have contacted me and stated that they were moving for a 3 week period and that the Email and Internet System is still new. They have given me a full refund on my original purchase. And have followed up with proof of the refund.
