I was recently introduced to a free to play poker site with the option to buy poker chips to play in free games with no real payout. I tried replay poker out as a friend had suggested but with his warning that if i bought the free chips in order to play on bigger tables, I would lose them all so not to buy. Then i found that the site did offer a small $2 purchase of 60,000 play chips which is a good deal if you want to play more competitively. I was amazed to find that my friends warning wasn't without merit. As soon as I began to play, my chips were taken from me very very rapidly. I also noticed that in the 2 weeks I played on the site, there was always the very same group of players online on the site 24 hours a day. I began to realize that the same people were always the ones that were taking all the chips as well. strictly out of curiosity, I asked a professional player who is a personal friend, to see what she thought of the site. At first she was a bit reluctant because she had a bad experience with the very same site some time ago. But she agreed to give it another try. She bought a few chips and begsn to play. immediately the same thing began to happen to her as well. I had her buy a few more chips and the losing continued. Mind you, this is a person who plays poker for a living. She understands the ins and outs of hold em and has the math involved in the game down to second nature. She said that the site was infact favoring. she sat at a high stakes table and went close to 90 hands without a single win. there was always a hand that was one impossible card better. According to the laws of math and poker, it is impossible to go that many hands and not win a single one of them based on the numder of cards dealt and the number of players in the hand. Bottom line- replay poker is a rip off site if you try to buy chips in order to stay competitive. You would think that a site that offers chips to thos few who would buy them would go out of their way to take care of them. BE WARY OF THIS SITE. there is a tight knit group of sharks that play there who will always have the odds on you.
