I used a tax preparer named Lloyd from Taxnet Financial they also said I was pre approved for a RAL but Republic Bank (don`t)Trust denied me. For some reason my refund was sent to them and they took 320.00 for tax prep. Fees for Taxnet Financial plus 41.00 for transmitting fee plus 30.00 for themselves for administrative fees and on top of all that Taxnet financial did my taxes wrong and they told me I would recieve 4960.00 from federal they forgot to include one of my dependents when they e-filed so I only got a chec for 3960.00 but after Republic Bank got done with it they sent me a check for 3563.90 that was supposed to be direct deposited in my account but instead they fedexed me a check from them that my bank wants to put a hold on for 10 days before I can use the money . I feel Republic Bank was out of the deal once they denied me my refund never should of sent to them and Taxnet Financial is a big rip off too never can get a hold of anyone there no return phone calls no return emails I can`t even get them to send me a copy of my taxes they filed. They are scam artist and they are in partners with Republic Bank (never) Trust.

I have owned Advanced Tax, a tax preparation and electronic filer for 24 years.  I have worked with Republic Band for the past 4 years and they have provided RALs and Refund Transfers for us so I am very familiar with how they and the IRS Efile work. It is obvious to me that you have complaints against two separate businesses. Taxnet Financial and Republic Bank.  If your preparer made errors on your return which reduced your refund, Republic Bank would have had nothing to do with that aspect which resulted in a lower refund.  If Taxnet  Financial did not explain  the process, and did not give you   copies of your tax return and bank documents they obviously violated rules put forth by the IRS and Republic Bank.  As far as Republic Bank not direct depositing your refund to your bank, again it sounds life the preparer may have caused that mistake as well.  You can obtain a copy of your return from the IRS and I would strongly advise you to do that.  Pay close attention to the refund amount that the IRS has in their records for that tax return as well as the dependents claimed on the return.  The fees that Taxnet charged are typical for tax returns claiming a child or children and getting the EIC.  You need to find out how and why one of the children was left off of your return.  Was the child already claimed on another return? or did Taxnet simply leave the child off of your return.  If not already claimed and left off of your return, find out how to do an amended return and claim the $1000 or so that you did not get.
