Equity Marketing ripoff Just a SHAM Altamonte Springs Florida
I listed my Embassy Suites Kaanapali Beach timeshare with this company that indicated that it would be sold within 180 days. I asked at the time of having it listed with them what percentage of properties sold within 180. They responded over 90 percent within 90 days.
Well, it has been over 300 days and not one inquiry. My timeshare was taken off of the website several times without anyone notifying me. I had to call to get it reinstated and indicated that I wanted on the website until it sold. I turned these crooks into the Better Business Bureau who also has not contacted me. Funny, they are just down the road from Resort Equity Marketing.
This company takes your money and forgets everything that they claimed when you first contact them. I was told that if the property was not sold that they would give two free round trip tickets to anywhere. NOT true again. The tickets can only be used in conjunction the resorts offer. I don't need a resort, I have a timeshare to trade. FREE is not free unless you consider 3000-4000 for a week vacation free.
DO NOT get taken in by the lies that this company put forth. They have breached their contract by not advertising as promised.
