I just want to say I thank the Lord Jesus Christ for this ministry and for Pastor Peter Vasquez. I came in almost 5 years ago got dropped off by my dad. I was a heroin and meth addict and living completely in sin. I did not know nothing about a personal relationship with God I did not know anything about Prayer or the Word of God. I was empty broken and lost. For the first time in my life I felt His presence . I heard the gospel preached through Pastor Peter through the Power of Jesus Christ and the truth HE set Me Free!!! God used the womens home mightly in my life. The People of God here . Pastor his family accepted me as there own . The love of God is definitely in them. All I can say is the truth. Jesus changed me I am 25 yrs old and I am so greatful for Okc Restoration Church. I would not of made it through my twenties. I have done everything else nothing worked. I know that God knew exactly what he was doing. I needed some sincerity in my life. I had been so hurt. I would not of continued here at restoration if all these hateful negative comments were true that people have written on this site. That picture is not even a picture of our church . Looks nothing like that. As well we do have impersonators of our ministry that USE our NAME and do different thing s with it. So be careful what you say about God's annointed. Nobody hired me. I dont have a job. I have a calling . I have a purpose. I decided to continue to follow Jesus. He has done so much in my life! No matter what a person should give because they have it in there heart and you cannot believe everything you hear! People hated Jesus mocked him talked about him. Theirs plenty of haters of this church. Thats alrighty all I can do is testify the goodness of God amen! I will pray for you. Bless you in Jesus NAME and I know satan hates that. God calls us blessed when we are persecuted for His names sake. God restored my family here as well! Healed me of diseases. Pastor Peter always continues to pray and believe fast preach still to this day no matter what! He did not give up for a dope fein like me and neither did Jesus. Remember that. Thats the problem you look to the world the internet what the person says that you dont even know. Instead of the word of God. All this crud talking is hilarious. I will stand up for righteousness til I die. Jesus is coming. We will be accountable. I hope you reading this . come to our womens home. I can show you everything. But you got to want to change ur life and Get ahold of some Jesus just like i did. Learn to be greatful. A lot ppl hate is bc they didn't get there way. Well hate to break to ya but we cant always have it our way. Our way does not work. Go through changes dpnt stay comfortable ..... U got to get out of the uncomfortable step out in faith. I am talking to u u who Hurt. Jesus loves you . I am only tryin to tell u what i know and experienced. I am greatful. Thank you Jesus and again thank you Pastor Peter Okc Restoration all the way!

A charity\church only needs a soliciting license when raising money in the streets or door to door, not when it's on private property like a walmart, kroger, etc. Besides I used to work for URM which is the governing body for the Oklahoma Restoration Church however I was at there Columbus location. I don't really think it's for monetary gain but it has helped a lot of people besides they need financial support others chances are the people that join would still be homeless or be living a very poor quality live, you wouldnt want that would you even for yourself huh? Thimk about that. As for me i actually kind of liked it. The traveling, seeing new things and meeting different people and ministering.
It was an experience I won't forget. I didn't get along with the leaders all the time but I don't really like to think of the negatives. It's not a rehab either, it's a "church live in home". Meaning they take ex cons, addicts, the homeless, and converts them to Christianity. It's only for 9 months, it's also very demanding. The workers are gone over 300 days per year and a under servailence by the leaders and can't really go anywhere without them. URM also works with local APA's like if someone who wants to join is on parole or probation. It's a really unique organization. Besides if you don't like the rules or what goes on you can always leave, it's not that serious. Oh and heres the address 1501 Linwood Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73106

Well, this church is a men & women's church for nine months or more. In this report I see the usual assumption of something happening without personal proof. Myself, was in a do or die scenario from Texas. And, I give the glory to god, but this church found me on a weekend they came to expand there outreach in Texas from Oklahoma. In this specific scenario ( if my situation wasnt as bad as it was I might not done this , but god knows what he's doing) I dropped everything, left everything in Texas, and moved to this Oklahoma City Restoration Church. I was there for around six months until my own actions, resulted in me having to leave. But words can't explain how absolutely blessed this place is. I gained an exponential amount of faith, simply because they blatantly explained god's word. And the daily tasks you had to commit were very humbling. Long story-short, this church is a blessing to any and everybody that is willing to listen. And there's an extreme amount of derogatory criticism towards them, witch they do not deserve. And I can go on for days on how many detailed perspectives of causes and effects would deeply change ur questioning thoughts. If anybody really does read this, just know this much. God loves u. Period. Know that in ur heart, and he will show you his blessing, change your heart, an such an extreme amount of faith, it's literally not funny. If there is actually a response, any questions will gladly be explained. Other then that, stay blessed.

I have been to the church several times. The first time was to bring my son clothing and soaps. (If you want soap for a bath or razor you are out of luck.) The 2nd time was a call for dress shoes; I was invited in and told it was not a Rehab. 3rd time was bring more clothing. I was the only parent that visit. There is something very evil about this place. God's is not there. Food was boiled water of a pototo. Your donation is the leaders way of feeding his face and/or the persons who you gave the money to put it in his pocket for food and soft drink.
Most of them had warrents out on them but hide out there.
Deny your child for God, excuse me your child is a gift from God.
God needs to clean house.
This info is from my son who i just picked up. He took the step of savation but could stay because of breaking man's and God's laws. 11/12/13

That is how I found out about Robert Flores so tracker20 bring it on come find me I have not done nothing wrong. It seems like Robert is desperate to stop me telling the truth but I wont be stopped until Robert tells the truth. He can be forgiven and live the way he claims he is living, but it will never happen unless he tells the truth. Back to his newest scams. I am posting all links to his new sites as well as contact information for anyone that wishes to contact Mr. Flores. I am hoping that Clark Kent will give me more information. He wants to but he says he is scared of Robert. Apparently Robert uses the men from his rehab to not only do work for him while Robert collects their pay, but will also use them as intimidations he will send them to threaten people. Clark seems to be a good 25 year old that just got caught up with the wrong person while trying to accomplish his dreams. I appreciate everyone who has helped me I know my son is looking down on me from heaven with a smile on his face. He knows his dad is someone with determination and will do what he has to. I care that is why I am telling the truth about Robert I am not getting anything from doing this, I am not benefiting or getting paid. Robert has not done anything personally to me so I am not getting revenge I just want the truth about him out there whether or not others want to believe it, at least I did what I could.
Here is the newest information on Robert Flores.I did say I was done with Robert but that was before he hired someone to track me and before I spoke to one of his children. I am the voice of that child that Robert has hurt and continues to hurt.

I can only speak on what I know about this so called church............first of all yes they do let people come and stay at their shelter. Second, as soon as you arrive at the shelter you get to be fed a sandwich or whatever they have on hand. They are supposed to keep you in the shelter attending church services for a week, then they make you, not ask you on a voluntary basis to go out into the streets and ask for donations. Now a couple of things wrong with this. They have only a few permits which every person asking for donations is supposed to have one. If you get stopped by the police without one then they will politely bail you out of jail, it's only right....correct? Well first these men and women should not have to go to jail because you don't run the shelter properly. Next, if they need donations then you don't get the weekly waiting period, you go out and ask for money. They get money, however they are fed breakfast and dinner, if you get no donations then you eat no lunch. The menu at this place consists of beans, beans and more beans. They even had a lot of Hot dogs donated so they had weiner soup. Never herd of this but I guess it's better than nothing. I can do nothing but shake my head, when most of the people asking for donations collect about a hundred a day. Multiply that times the number of people there, and you get beans?? I am not saying they should have steak but at least a balanced meal. My main concern here is the fact they are required to go out for donations. Many of these people are drug addicts who are put into very drug infested parts of town with money they have collected. Do you really think after a few days or a week they are strong enough to resist the temptation?? You are not helping them you are using them as mules to get money to bring into this place. The only thing that keeps some of them from spending this money on drugs is the fact they don't want to be homeless, however some can't avoid it. There is no counseling, no medication, no health testing, not even a TB test for them to all live together. I agree God can work miracles, but God also put in place a kind heart to assist people with their struggles not use them for monetary gain. The pastor of this place lives in a nice big house but these people cannot get a lunch?? If they do slip up and go do drugs then they are put on restriction for a so called thirty days.........wait unless.....they need money for the place, then back to the streets with them!!! This is definitely a rip off and very misleading, now when people talk about God, that's one thing, but when you seriously think your money is being used to help these people get off their drug addiction, you are SERIOUSLY wrong. You can house someone and keep them off the streets, but are you really helping them with their addiction?? They need counseling, coping skills, some need medication and most importantly GOD. Try spending some of the money that is donated by caring citizens to actually help them rather than tell them they can stay as long as they bring in money from the streets. Now if the men and women feel as though they are not ready to go into the streets or are strong enough, then they are kicked out. Period. Makes no sense to me. One last thing, if you think I do not know what I am talking about then rethink. I helped a person go here and they really wanted help, but this is what they got. God Bless you all.

GET REAL,LADY. YOU SHOULD KNOW NOT TO DONATE TO ANYTHING UNLESS YOU RESEARCH THEM FIRST! Consider the dollar well-spent in the REAL LIFE SCHOOL OF HARD KNOCKS. Some people here get ripped off more than just a dollar. CONSIDER YOURSELF LUCKY --VERY LUCKY! IT WAS JUST A DOLLAR! Don't EVER give ANY money unless you check with the Rip Off Report or FTC sites first.

I have seen similar reports used to bash a company or Christian service. It's hate mail used for the purpose of getting peoples atention and drawing it to THEIR OWN WEBSITE. IN FACT, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE OK CITY RESTORATION CHURCH. I HAVE DONATED A DOLLAR HERE AND THERE AND EVEN SPOKEN WITH MEMBERS AND THE DIRECTOR. It is a fine establishment of people dedicated to the sobriety and rehabilation of alcoholics and drug addicts. I wish there were MORE places like this. As they are self-supporting and run, practically on a shoe-string, sometimes the mission folks give candy in exchange for donations, to help pay for the food they eat there, electricity, and basics of living. No one "hoodwinked" this greedy individual out of a dollar. She is just "using" this caustic report she made as an attention-getter to draw traffic to her own website.

"their appearance does not impress me as people I would want representing my church. ... Clean your people up a little and teach them what to say and when to take 'NO' for an answer." "People look at the outside of the person, but the Lord looks at the heart." (1 Samuel 16:7) It seems you're more concerned with the fact that you gave your dollar to someone who's not dressed and primped as well as you than you are concerned with where your dollar is going. I don't claim to know the interworkings of the OKC restoration church, but as someone who has also thrown a dollar in their bucket, I think their vision of the church appears much more in line with what Christians are called to be than nitpicking the outer appearances of someone who may be less fortunate than you.

I did a search for Oklahoma City Restoration Church to get there Mailing address. and ran across this forum. After reading all the Negative remarks about Oklahoma City Restoration Church and Pastor Pete.((( I was really shocked.))) I have visited Oklahoma City Restoration Church, I have even visited with Pastor Pete. This Ministry has help so many people in Oklahoma City area. I will say that some of you on here are right, Pastor Pete did use bad grammar and didn't use proper punctuation. But He does have "The Heart of God" That is all that matters. My Family and I would like to say "Thank You" Oklahoma City Restoration Church for helping people beat addiction, giving them the word of God to stand on. ( You can give a man a fish, He will have a meal for the day. Teach a man to fish, He will have food for a lifetime ). You are making a difference in OKLAHOMA!!! Keep up the Great work Pastor Pete. In Christ Jesus, Kaye Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. --Proverbs 3:5-6

As a pastor of ANY church in the United States, it seems that a bit of education and knowledge of the English language would be of great benefit when dealing with American people. Obviously this pastor is uneducated and does not really know what his congregation does with his flyers and candy. The people he is supposedly helping don't even know the address they live at, and cannot direct a person wishing to donate to the church. The people I have encountered from the Resurrection church have been dirty and unkept with scraggly beards. That is the men have. As far as the women go, their appearance does not impress me as people I would want representing my church. The Resurrection church in Oklahoma City is on Linwood close to the downtown area. Clean your people up a little and teach them what to say and when to take "NO" for an answer.

I did an online search for Restoration Church because a man came to my door and I donated. He was a nice man and we talked for a few minutes about my brother who is a homeless drug addict living in Fort Worth, TX. He told me that he himself had been in that situation. Also, he let me know that there is a Restoration Church in Ft. Worth. I'm searching the internet trying to find an address that I can give to my brother so he can get help. There are a ton of different reasons a person might do an internet search. It doesn't just have to be because there is "something fishy" going on.

Preach on Shari of Tacoma, Washington!!!!! I am not disagreeing with any good doings of the church, but if everything is on the up & up, why did "Pastor Pete", as he's being called here, even do a search on his organization? I mean you can say that a member of the congregation informed you of this site, but what suspicious practices made the original person do a search on your church? Something sounds fishy

I have had several opportunities to interact with the OKC Restoration Church, both with the individuals in the street ministry and by attending one of the Church services on Linwood Avenue. I make the statement that I have donated over $300 to this Church only to emphasis that I have confidence in the work this Church performs. The Church provides a secure environment for individuals in need of direction and love. It provides a caring atmosphere where they can escape the strife of sheer survival on the streets while they examine the direction of their lives. When their search for life focuses on the next meal, it is difficult to contemplate any other purpose for living. Pastor Vasquez shepherds a flock that daily comprehends the meaning of death; he is providing an opportunity for them to find meaning in this life, as well as, meaning in an eternal life. For these individuals, hope of any kindfrom any sourceis accepted with much fervor. And their training in surviving the streets makes them unyielding soldiers in God's service.

I was interested in reading this article of ripoff because I am a Christian. However, Pastor Pete's complete run-on sentence with no punctuation or capitalization or good grammar makes it hard to read. Get an education so you can defend yourself properly. Plus, how would you know as a Pastor that this report was given here unless you were afraid the information was true!
