I signed up for a 14-day trial and was not aware that after that time I would be automatically subscribed to their service. Through my busyness, I missed the payments coming out of my account. They have been charging me for 14 months so far. When I called and spoke to a manager he told me that there was nothing he could do even for the payment that just posted on 4/30/20 at 12 am.

I am currently writing this on 4/30/20 at 7:38 pm. He also stated that it was clearly in the fine print which it probably is, hidden. The gentleman (if you'd actually call him that) reassured me that any negative reports I leave will be responded to because they have the resources now to do so. Bring it on bud. Your company sucks and you have a well-paved path of screwing people.

You are correct I did not pay enough attention to my bank account. It could have been the full-time job and full-time school schedule I have. That part is totally on me. The complaint is more about how I had no idea the charge was coming out each month due to it not being clear in their writing. I only asked for a refund of the last month that they charged which hit my account 13 hours before writing the original post.

- So was the debit they took out EVERY Month "hidden" on your bank statement? I would bet no.



I missed the payments coming out of my account.

- Really so how could you miss a $39.99 charge coming out of your account every month? Let's review some possible reasons.

Reason 1 - You don't actually review your monthly statement

Reason 2 - You don't use a Written Register

Reason 3 - You are so wealthy that you don't even care about charges for less than $50.

The fact is that you had 14 opportunities to notice this charge which you failed to do. Had you come here after 1 or 2 months, you may have had a valid complaint.  But after this amount of time it is 100% YOUR fault.

If they are not going to refund you, your best chance right now is to file a dispute with your bank. But even with them per FEDERAL regulations you only have 60 days to dispute a charge. This means that if they approve your dispute, the most you may get back is about 2 months. If you get ANYTHING more than that consider yourself extreamly lucky.

What this report says is that you as standard practice is hand over your account information and agree to terms and conditions that you actually don't read.  Perhaps if one thing comes out of this for you is that you will be a lot more cautious in the future.
