Retriever Merchant Solutions/JOSH ROUSE DECEITFUL SALES REPS! RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE South Holland Illinois
This is a complaint on behalf of Splash of Color and Lantagne’s Auto Body in regards to switching my merchant accounts over to Retriever Merchant. The sales Rep, Josh Rouse, promised the company would pay any cancellation fees for switching from our then merchant processing company, Merchant Solutions. Upon receiving the charges for the cancellation fees I tried to contact Josh multiple times by phone & email without a response for several months. I contacted the corporate office and they stated they would contact us back with a follow up from a manager and never followed through. I have kept dates, times and contact names of all the people that I spoke to. I spoke to a manager today after my 4th attempt for a resolution and she stated that Josh denies making that promise, as I have 2 business' and switched both of my merchant accounts over to Retriever Merchant. She then rudely stated there was nothing that she could do further and said that it was up to Josh to handle, however he REFUSES to contact us back. He definitely stayed in contact while he was trying to get the account and made promises that he NEVER intended to keep!!! DECEIT & FRAUD ON HIS PART AND RETRIEVER FOR NOT TRYING TO WORK HARDER TO RESOLVE THIS SITUATION. COMPLETE AND UTTER DISSATISFACTION FOR THEIR ETHICS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE (RATHER THE LACK OF)!!!!!!! I would never have agreed to switch merchant companies just to pay a cancellation fee out of my own pocket. Doesn't add up!!!

Retriever Merchant Solutions has fixed our account and stated they will pay for the fees that we were charged.
