June 2008. From the beginning it all seemed to be great because everyone was helpful, to get my business. All I needed was a mobile card swipe unit. Mark Corona kept saying to get a landline also and that I could cancel it at anytime no fees or penalties will be charged, He sent me a contract to sign that stated the penalty is waived, so I accepted it and signed it. Well a few months I wanted to cancel it because I hardly used it. Well... you bet ya I cannot cancel without a $250.00 cancelation fee (which they ended up waiving) and I had to cancel the processing with another processing company that is non cancellable (Mark never mention this to me and he knew my situation- Mark looking after his pockets and not after a potential lifetime customer). So Im stuck with it. Then I started having just a bad vibe/experience with ALL customer service reps It seems that everyone just passes you to another. Call backs were rare or just took a few days. I since then found another company that will use the same terminals (and at a lot lower rate, I may add). Gina told me that there was no way I could get those rates with a small company I have. Well I have it in writing and it has been going great!
January 2010. Gina told me to send her a cancellation letter and call her right after I did. I faxed it over and called No answer so I left a message. No call back. I since then called and still havent cancelled me out with their company... Her answer to it all is Dont make my job harder than what it is I have other customers that I am helping I cant just help you. What an answer by and customer service representative. I am a busy business owner and I cannot keep calling them to get everything done.
April 5, 2010. Now I faxed it over again... Two months later with about a hundred dollars of fees they finally shut it off. I had to continue to call though. Now I have a $90.00 fee from PCI (a new fee that just started from VISA, MC, DISC. AMEX for regulations) that came into effect. Amy the manager said to just call this 1-800 # to get it taken off... WRONG... I cannot get this taken off for the life of me. She was very quick to pass me off to someone else... now I cant get a hold of any of them. Horrible experience!!! Lies, lies and more lies and absolutely NO customer service!! I feel bad for the owners to have all employees like this but then again they should have good practices implemented. Call it bad karma but this company will not be around much longer, I hope. I got in contact with two other companies that use them and theyve had similar cases with them about customer service. BEWARE! I cannot wait till these types of companies are regulated and removed from existence.
