I bought my first trailer! Wanted one for years and I prepared for it for months. Purchased a brand new Cummings diesel truck with tow package.

Visited Revolution RV and paid 11,000 for my trailer and bought it in time to enjoy traveling for the holidays this year.

I got my trailer and took it on its first trip and it was a disaster, we were on our way to Magic Mountain Thanksgiving week with my family who was visiting me for the first time in years.

When we were in LA, the truck began to loose power and we had to get off the freeway, a block or two later the truck dies. We were stranded with a trailer, kids and a brand new truck that would not run.

To make a long story short, we got the trailer unhitched, called the dealer for the truck and they took it in that day to check it, we hobbled with frequent stops to jump the battery.

We called Revolution RV and told them that the trailer was sucking electricity from our truck alternator, and they told us that we did not have any proof so they would not help us.

We were forced to call the skyline manufacturer and they were terrific, they told us they would come and get the trailer from where it was stuck in a few days and check it out. We were unable to tow the trailer home so we had to leave it in Los Angeles.

Days later the manufacture (Skyline) informed us that the problem was that that the dealer did not install the battery correctly and it was draining the truck alternator and blowing fuses. They fixed and we could come and pick up the trailer during a weekday only or pay them to deliver it to us.

I felt that since the dealer delivered a faulty trailer, they should deliver it to us so we would not incur more costs on the faulty product.

SO I called the owner of the dealership again, he said he would call me back, he did not. I called again and spoke to the sales man and he got someone to finally help us. Finally I spoke to Annie at revolution RV, told her what happened she assured me that they would get the trailer to us.

About a week went by no trailer or phone call, so I called Annie again. She did not seem to know who I was, she told me that she had called the manufacturer and they did not call her back, so I needed to call the manufacturer myself.

What a lame excuse, now that I call her she tells me I have to call the manufacturer? What really happened in my opinion is that she forgot about me.

So she calls the manufacturer once and then forgot about it. She tells me when I call, that I have to call the manufacturer, I told her I had already called them, the trailer has been ready and they just need someone to schedule to pick it up.

So why should I call the manufacturer, and if I was to call the manufacture, why did you not call me and tell me instead of waiting until I called you? She just did not know what to say because she dropped the ball like everyone else at Revolution RV.

So I have paid my first payment, had the trailer for one day and all my holiday plans with travel and family are gone. It is Christmas Eve and I have to stay home.

And absolutely no idea if when and ever if they intend to make things right. I am so angry that a company can turn out such a defective product and not take care of their customers in a timely manner. It is as though they took my money and ran and now move like molasses to help fix the problem they create.

Too bad for me that the trailer was defective, too bad your trip and holiday plans are ruined. We have your money and you have nothing but more costs incurred, and a holiday season that is now in tatters.

Thanks revolution RV in San Diego, your customer service sucks and if I could, I would return the trailer, get my 2000 back and find another dealer that cares about their quality of service and product.

And don't think that I will not explore the possibilities.

I purchased a Nomad trailer from Revolution RV in San Diego, I posted a previous complaint but when the owner Rod got wind of it, he made my compliants go away. The owner of Revolution RV in San Marcos went way beyond the call and took care of me surpassing my expectations. I got a great price on the Nomad trailer I purchased and the best customer service I have ever experienced. Revolution RV of San Marcos rocks and I will send anyone to see them for an RV. I love my trailer and Revolution RV of San Marcos. Great prices and great follow up with service!! When I am ready to updgrade, Revolution RV will be the first place i go. I have visited the San Marcos lot on numerous occasions prior to buying my Nomad Trailer. I kept returning because the prices were the best i could locate. Traveled all the way to Santee to other lots but again, Revolution RV of San Diego had the best pricing. In any event, i would love to remove this prior complaint because they have fully satisfied my issues. In fact I am amazed that the Owner Rod, went as far as he did to make sue he had a satisfied customer. I too am in my own business and I make customer service my priority as well as expect excellent service from anyone i do business with. Revolution RV had provided me with the Best customer service i have ever gotten from a business. That in my humble opinion generates loyal customers. Revolution RV of San Marcos, I will be back!

Since I am unable to remove this post, I wish to update anyone who is interested in the outcome thus far. I eventually met with the owner of Revolution RV, who was concerned about my plight. He promised to pick up my trailer, pay the bill, detail and go through the trailer again. He also included a few other considerations which went beyond my expectations. To date the owner of Revolution RV of San Diego has fulfilled ALL of his promises and needless to say I am ecstatic that they are finally showing us the customer service they are capable of providing. Therefore, I surmise that if you have a problem with any company, dont give up, perhaps it is just a matter of getting to the right person who will follow through and everything proceeded accordingly, I now have my trailer. I will certainly shop Revolution RV for my next travel trailer. It took me two years and many visits to Revolution RV to finally be able to buy my travel trailer and in my humble opinion Revolution RV of San Diego in San Marcos have some of the best prices out there for your first or next travel trailer. Next time I want to consider an Airstream, once we have sufficiently broken in our first trailer and I will shop Revolution RV without hesitation.
