I was hired as an independent contractor. I was given checks that bounced. I was promised money that never came. I spoke to several employees who also have never been paid. I worked with customers who never got their product. He rebranded the company when other companies refused to work with him, changing his role so it looked like he was no longer the owner. When I quit he owed me quite a bit of money and continually tells me he is "working on it." I have no recourse through the DOL because I was a contractor, something he knew and manipulated. He has done this before, dancing around the law to avoid paying people. I've been told he has judgments against him in small claims court and has not paid them. Do not work for this man. Do not buy his product. He is a liar and a conman.
