Just a reccomendation that if you decide to buy a house from them you pay for an independent inspection. It will be worth the money people. They won't like it because of the mistakes the inspector will find. But it will be worth it. Good Luck!

This email is a rebuttal to RipOff #6321. It was sent by @Rebuttal_Name@ at [email protected]. Fuller Homes, Full of it Homes. Thank you Rip-off Report. Richard Fuller Homes ripped us off too. BBB had nothing on them! *UPDATE .we mistakenly relied on the BBB they protect the builder (#6321) They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report: Their email: [email protected] Their relationship to the company: Consumer Suggestion Rebuttal: When someone told me about this site, I was not surprised to see so many negative articles about Richard Fuller Homes. I am a Richard Fuller Homeowner and very disappointed with this company. We have had several supertintendents, manager, warranty managers, supposed president and anyone else they can call you or send out in the last year. I can offer one advise. Be smart. If you just have to move in to a Richard Fuller Home before all and I mean all items are totally completed and quality completed, then make sure your title company puts some of your closing money in escrow so they will get paid ...only when your items are satisfactory completed. This should be anyones's policy if they are dealing with Richard Fuller Homes.

I wish I would have research Richard Fuller Homes.
Our neighborhood in Fort Worth, Texas has many home owners that have not been happy with their homes after purchase. So many items are minor but no one seems to care, after you buy.
Promises, lies, promises, lies, good luck that should be there slogan.
Not no excuses , no exceptions, like their web site states. The bottom line is, to not go through all the frustration we have just sucked it up and spent the money to get things fixed at our cost.
Shame on you Richard Fuller Homes.

I'm glad you found out the truth, before you bought, and I wish we had. We have seen people on our street sell Fuller Houses a year or less after moving in--too many to be a coincidence. This is why we bought new instead of resale, we didn't want to take the chance of undisclosed defects! So, instead of an OLD fixer-upper, we got a NEW fixer-upper.
We mistakenly relied on the BBB and other sources that really protect the builder, to do our research before buying. The BBB gets its funding from the member-businesses such as Fuller Homes, and that's who they look after.
We found no complaints with the BBB and wrongly assumed that meant there were no complaints. WRONG! The BBB later admitted to us in a letter that there were other complaints, but that they do not make them public!
We have been trying to get our home fixed for nearly a year and a half. Mr. Fuller is rude to us and his entire company has denied responsibility, despite numerous inspections and expert's reports we've paid for, and even that the warranty company has paid for. He has also claimed we are his only unhappy customer! What a joke!
It is very important for ripped off homebuyers to file a complaint with gov't agencies. That makes it public record, and the agencies do take into consideration how many complaints they get, when deciding how seriously to take it. If people don't complain, they just make it that much easier for bad builders like Fuller to keep doing this, and to keep getting away with worse and worse. It seems taking such "extreme" measures, as one of Fuller's supporters called it, is necessary, as simply
telling Fuller's company what warranty work needs to be done does not get results.
