Riddle and Associates Ripoff Illegally pulled credit report Draper Utah
When reviewing a TransUnion Credit report, Riddle & Associates was listed as a company that pulled the credit report under regular inquiries. It was flagged by TransUnion that unauthorized pulls of a report will lower credit. I contacted TransUnion and asked if either a Law Firm OR a Collection Agency has the authority to pull this information and was told, "No, That is illegal. You should contact them and ask for them to provide a letter stating that they indeed pulled the report. Then send the confirmation letter to TransUnion and we will remove the entry"
This was explained to Mr. Salizar (sp?) of Riddle & Associates and he scoffed and said, "We will send no such letter, do not call again, have your attorney call."
Riddle & Associates poses as a valid law firm, but it is clear they are willing to break the law in an attempt to bully others. The specific law that they are breaking is:
FCRA Section 604 (A)(3)
