I dropped off a faulty battery (part number 130183010) in early October 2013 for replacement at a Ridgid Service Center.
Three months have passed, and I have NOTHING to show for it. I have called Ridgid Customer Service repeatedly and I routinely get the runaround ("Why are you calling us?" "We don't see your account." "You shoud call the service center.")
I emailed the service center today and they informed me that the battery was ordered on 10/9/13, backordered and then never sent. He attempted to re-order on today, but in addition to the part number being changed, there are none in stock.
In my lifetime, I have never had such a bad experience in with a company for warrantee work as I have had with Ridgid Tools.
I would not have purchased this mediocre/overpriced drill had I known how bad this company's customer service would be.
