Risk Management Alternative Debt collectors stole money from my checking account
Since my husband has been laid off things are hard, trying to keep basic essientals for three boys,is even harded. We originally agreed to make payments on a credit card. We then decided with income tax return money we would pay it off. The Risk Management Alternative company out of Las Vegas Nevada was then contacted and told not to send the check through to the bank that the money would'nt be there. They said ok no problem. I then recieved a notice from my bank that they had tried to send the check through and it had been bounced. I then called and talked to the managager Rudy Gonzales. I told him what had happened. Again a second time I told them not to send the check through. The next time I was at the bank I asked what had happened to the money I had just put in the bank for anothe bill. They said the check from RMA had gone through and been paid. They stole $250 from my checking account after I had already paid them over $1500. Now what am I suppose to do? Never give your bank account# to a collection agency they will clean it out. 1 wanted me to give them mine and I said hell no . I will use bill pay from my bank to pay you or I will send money orders . If I were you I woud close the account and reopen it with new #s
