R.L.Stevens & Associates Inc. R.L.Stevens uses "False Advertisement, aged and dishonest people, and one lie covers another" Tactics to Spend $4000 but Only Got One Resume and Cover Letter. Waltham Massachusetts
I am writing to express my total dissatisfaction with the job-search services provided by the R.L. Stevens at 800 South Street, Ste.295 Waltham Ma 02453. Their services are so far from what they advertised on Boston-job.com and Boston Globe Sunday newspaper.
On March 15, 2006, I paid the R.L.Stevens a total of $4,000 for their job-search services they advertised. They insisted that I pay that amount in one payment to avoid $500 additional charge for the interest if paid in installments. They told me they would probably find me a job within three months, so it was not worth paying that extra. I compiled and paid them $4,000 at our first meeting. With the payment, they reviewed my qualifications and promised the following:
They will connect me to the decision-makers of the companies I am interested or they recommended (they told me they have special codes to help me reach those companies, such as TJX, Home Depot, Talbots, and Staple),
I will get responses from those "decision-makers" through their connections ,
I can go back to them if I am not happy with the job they find me.
Seventeen months later, none of the above happened to me. Instead, I was asked by the R.L. Stevens to call companies that never responded or did not recognize the R.L. Stevens; to attend various social events to establish network with different people; to pay due to join professional clubs, and to travel to other states to attend job fairs. program.
I am indignant that the R.L. Stevens used their false advertisement to seduce people like me to the services they could not or never intended to deliver.
