We actually are surprised that this guest claims not to have known the price of the room that they reserved using our partner's service. We take great care to display in several places under bold headings the exact amount that will be charged in the case of pre-paid reservations. The only difference that occurs between pages is the addition of taxes and fees at the check out process. This is not only honest, but also very common. Any retail site that you purchase from online will display a product's price without adding in taxes and shipping/fees until the check out page.
We even take an extra step to make sure that all users are fully aware of all prices, cancel policies, etc. by requiring that they check a box to indicate that they have read and agree to all policies. That being said, had this guest contacted our customer service department we would have been happy to explain this to them. We welcome any user to explore our site for the deception this guest claims to have experienced. We are confident that their lack of care in reading and paying attention to clearly posted totals will be immediately apparent.
