I too have had nothing but problems with this company. Twice I was placed with abusive companies and I will be contacting an attorney next week. So hopefully this helps. 2884 Sand Hill Rd. Menlo Park, CA 94025 (Map)Phone: 650-234-6000 Fax: 650-234-6999 http://www.rhii.com

The following is based on my experiences: I have worked for a lot of staffing/temp agencies as a temp employee who was sent out on assignments. All of these places seemed to work the same, i.e. you schedule a time to come in, you fill out extensive paperwork and are tested on your skills, particularly software skills. At the end of testing, a staffing specialist will review your resume and test results and if she has an open position that she thinks you will fit in, she will offer you an assignment on the spot. If, you may hear something days later, weeks later or perhaps never. These "interviews" last a very long time because of all the testing. When you made the appt. they should have told you to expect to be there for a specified time. I don't really like temp/staffing agencies. I've never worked for Robert Half and don't know a lot about them (except that Mr. Half wrote a famous book). I just know that based on the temp agencies that I worked with (15+) I could write a book of complaints. Personally, I think they should have returned your calls promptly and told you they had nothing for you and why. In your letter, it sounds like you may have become annoyed or demanding when you were at the interview. Keep in mind when you went to the interview, they were also judging you on your professional appearance and attitude. They assume, rightfully so in my opinion, that if someone is bossy and demanding or rude or unprofessional while interviewing, that is how they will look and behave on the job. An agency cannot afford to endanger a client contract by sending them someone they perceive could cause problems. I wasn't at your interview so for all I know you were totally professional the entire time. I'm just telling you this because it seems you don't know a lot about how temp agencies work. I believe the area you are in has oodles of agencies, why not just go apply to a different one?
