Bell's Victorian Apartments Colorado Springs Colorado apartment & landlord from helll
I have lived in this building since August 1, 2001 and have had nothing but problems there. My landlord has, in 6 months failed to give me a copy of my lease or to look at the things I pointed out to him as previous damage when I moved in. He has done no initial walk-through inspection with me.
There is no heat in my apartment, yet he charged me $65 last month for utilities. THe building itself is falling apart.
There is significant water damage and many jobs left undone. He takes the liberty of going into the apartments without notice whenever he feels like it.
I have come home many times and known he was in my apartment, yet none for any particular reason. Someone in the building called the fire marshall on him because there were no fire extinguishers anywhere in the building. He put them in... empty.
I noticed that the gauge on the one he put in my apartment read empty and I begin to inquire of my neighbors what theirs read. In most cases, their "new" extinguishers were also empty. This guy charges way too much for these apartments, especially considering the condition of the building and the apartments themselves.
There is so much more detail and so many more instances in what has gone on there in the past six months, but I cannot get into it right now.
