Complaint Review: Ron Burkett - Oakland Tennessee

I have a home built by Burkett homes.And am very satasfied with the workmanship and quality that he puts in his homes.There is only a problem if it is not addressed and fixed.And RON goes that extra step to please his customers.Some people you cannot ever please.And maybe BOB or whatever there name is one of those people.

I found when I bought a home for my mother from Burkett Homes that Ron Burkett was helpful, knowledgeable and very accommodating. I do not know of Bob's claim that he moves around, he has been in this subdivision for a long time and I see plenty of his homes around here and he is never hard to find if you need some help or have a question. Maybe Bob had a bad experience or maybe is just having a bad day, but I felt compelled to write rebutting what Bob had to say. My impression of Ron is that he is a honest guy that builds solid homes.

I am the 2009 President of the Fair Meadows Home Owners Association. The association board contracted Burkett Homes to design and build a stone wall with a Fair Meadows insert at the entrance. Ron did a great job upgrading the entrance and was either at his model home or just a phone call away. He was always available. Any issues we had during the construction were handle on the spot.

Ron went the extra mile not to damage the bushes and trees that were at the entrance. There was a minimun amount of damage and no bushes had to be replaced. The association board was very confortable dealing with Ron. 

After working with Burkett Homes on the wall at the entrance I contracted him to do an addition to my patio. My wife and I are very pleased with the work. The project was completed at the cost quoted and was completed within the estimated time. The area was cleaned after the construction was completed. The addition looks like it was from the original construction. You cannot tell it is an add on.

Burkett did not build my house but I would have no problem having him build one for me.

I am very surprised by the comments about Ron Burkett, a home builder.  Mr. Burkett built a home for my family in 2006.  We are very satisfied with Mr. Burkett and the fine quality of work that he does.

Whenever we had a problem, he was always accommodating and the work was done in a timely fashion.  I am happy to say we had very few problems.

Mr. Burkett built several homes in our neighborhood and to my knowledge, everyone seems pleased with him.  Some of the neighbors that had their homes built by other builders have contracted Mr. Burkett to do additions to their homes, especially back porches.   

He has a office in his model home in our neighborhood and is reachable whenever someone needs him.

His reputation in our neighborhood is very good. The homeowners association recently contracted him to build a wall at the front of the subdivision.  It turned out beautifully and really enhances the look of our neighborhood.  He would not have been chosen to do the job if the association did not think he was a quality builder.

I'm sorry that someone chose to try to discredit him.  Perhaps that person has more than their home to be concerned about. 

I am Sandra Johnson, the secretary for Burkett Homes Inc. I have been employed by Ron Burkett for 6 yrs. And in these years we have been located in Oakland Tenn. and have not moved to any other location. We moved from a model home in one subdivision to another due to the fact that we had sold out of the first, and had  no more lots left to build on.

We have been located in the same model home for 3 yrs. now. The model home which houses our office is open 7 days a week, as it has been in the 6 yrs. that I have worked for the Burketts. This is the third subdivision that Burkett Homes has been located  in Oakland.

We do call our home owners often to schedule a time for any repairs that may need to be addressed. And we continue to do so until all repairs are made, I really am sorry that may have been a bother to " Bob".Most of our customers like the personal attention that we give our home buyers. There are times that it may take a couple of weeks for there to be a conveniet time for the home owner to allow the workers in.

I wish we could make "Bob" happy.  Due to the fact that we can not find any one by that name in ours files that has purchased a Burkett Home, this can not be accomplished ,with our regret! We want every Burkett home owner to be happy with their home. That is what we strive to do !!!

May be this is a joke or I would think "Bob" would provide their real name, so their problems could be addressed.
