I hired Drew Metzler to strip old roofing off my home and cover it with ice shield. Some repairs were made to sheathing. Drew asked to be paid in cash. During the winter, a snowy one in NY, water began to come into parts of the upstairs. I called Drew. No response whatsoever. Finally I insisted he do something, by now the room had significant damage to walls and ceiling. I eventually inspected the work.
In places, building paper was substituted for ice shield, sloppy work was noticed. As of 4/21/14, Drew has come over twice, done nothing. The building felt has all blown off, further exposing the house. I am not hiring Drew to do a roofing job due to poor workmanship, leaks, Iineffective followup.Drew is UNLICENCED in New York since 2005. Use him at your peril to house and home.

On 4/22/2014, Drew Metzler gave me $500 as restitution for poor workmanship. Repairs also were made using ice shield.
