Rooftop Fiddler Fine Violins Removed item from Ebay, because they did not get the bid that they wanted. Toledo Ohio
This individual is a rip-off. He listed a violin on Ebay, and then when he did not get the bid that he wanted, he had Ebay remove the item. He claimed it was because the listing was wrong. But he sent out a not to bidders what was wrong with the listing, and if we wanted to retract our bid, we could. I chose not to. Well, Ebay let him remove it, and then when I looked again, he had added a price, or a buy it now price of $395.00, which was not there the first time.
Ebay has done this to me on several occasions. When I wrote the guy telling him this was not fair. That is why they put a RESERVE on there to use, he got smart, and said he would not let me bid on any more of his items. I just wanted to report that this guy is a crook, and so is Ebay for letting him do this. If he will do this on Ebay, he will do it in person. BEWARE! DO NOT BUY FROM ROOFTOP FIDDLER FINE VIOLINS OR FINE-VIOLIN-EXPRESS ON EBAY.

This individual is not being accurate with her information. An ebay seller has the option to remove an item if a mistake in the listing was made, and more than twelve hours remains in the auction. This was the case with the listing. Buyers were given the option to cancel their bids, but ultimately the item was removed. Also, we are not sure what she is talking about with her mentioning a buy it now price of over 300 dollars. This item was reslisted at $195. Our reptuation speaks for itself with a feedback rating of 100%. Very few of our auctions are ever cancelled with bids. If this individual had taken the time to contact us before emailing us right away and telling us what she thought of us without any mental editing, she may have had a very different outcome. Ebay is a large place with many different people. Sometimes sellers don't do the right thing, but sometimes buyers can jump the gun too. BEWARE EBAY SELLERS! I could be rude and post her username here, but I will take the high road. Good day!
