Route 66 Extended Warranty Failure to Disclose Limits and Failure to Cover Repairs Mountain Home Arkansas
This company has deceitful practices. First, I procured this warranty for a 2009 Mercedes S-Class. When my check engine light came on, I contacted Route 66 to (A) notify them of the engine light, and (B) to get a list of facilities that would accept this warranty. The list of facilities provided by Route 66 all stated they would not attempt to diagnose a Mercedes S-Class and my only option was to contact a Mercedes dealership, in which I did. To make a long story short, and a short story even shorter, Route 66 would not cover any of the problems I had though the warranty indicates some of my issues are covered. I paid over $2,000 to have an oil leak, camshaft, and transmission mount repaired and Route 66 didn't cover any of it. To make matters even worse, I just learned through Route 66 that they will only cover up to $3,000 in repairs on my vehicle and this information is not listed anywhere within my agreement (failure to disclose limits). It just states X,Y,Z is covered and there is no deductible. I have begun looking into getting a new warranty with a different company, and I've learned through this experience to ask if there is a cap on repairs and to get a list of facilities that accept the warranty.
