Royal International Services, Inc. sweepstakes scam Preasanton California
Got plain white envelope postmarked 2/28/09, no return address, postmarked Canada, contents letter & check for $3995.Letter states I have won "Publisher's Clearing House and Compensation Draw" swwepstakes, aka North American Direct Sweepstakes held on July 4, 2008 -- prize of $125,000 will be payable to me by Certified Check. I am to contact Mr. Walter Don, 778-317-5810. The letter is signed Jonhson (sic) Wisneski.
Apparently, the check is to cover "Certificate of Clearance approval and Insurance fees" -- I am supposed to moneygram $3821.10 from the check after I deposit it.
The check is drawn on Blumebia LLC, 11166 N Huron St Suite 30B, Northglenn CO 80234 account at WellsFargo Bank. Signed by Daniel J Evans.
So, letter from California, mailed from Canada, check from Colorado -- I think not. Plus, same company doing other scams in past years, found in RipoffReport.com.
