Royal Prestige is everything but Prestigious. I am a mother of an infant and getting married to the love of my life now that we can finally afford it (it took 3 years). I am soo excited about everything that when I get a phone call that I had won a Fantastic Honeymoon for free I jumped at it. Then looking at this cookware that is the only thing healthy and relible, I had to invest in our future.

Yeah right, the only investing I did was into Marty Cox's wallet. He sold me this stuff and as we were paying, which I paid in full, I was joking and told my Fiance if you don't clean them, the're going back! Never was I told "if you get the stuff and it is horrible junk I will be honest a do the right thing", but I guess for $1500.00 I expected to be satisfied.

So after three weeks we got our pans, they were junk and honestly the worst pans I had ever used in my life, and by the way they scratch enamel and porcelain sinks. So, naturally I called the man we bought them from and I was told "...this is not wal-mart, you can't return it, the agreement is non-cancelable".

I asked for my agreement terms and my answer was, "you paid in full, you don't need them". So if any other people you have been screwed by Marty Cox or Royal Prestige can help me, that would be great. The only reason I knew I had any agreement terms was because the guy at the warranty office slipped up and said something, now he's not even talking. I was told "you do what you have to do". Thanks, great advice.

#2Consumer Suggestion

Wed, July 07, 2004

I too was ripped off by someone based out of Raytown, MO. His name was Jamie Cox though, skinny floppy-haired blonde guy, wearing a shirt too big for him. My suggestion is this: contact your Attorney General, the FTC, the BBB, whoever will listen to you. Contact the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection and have them send you a Consumer Complaint form, don't just fill out the form, include a detailed letter explaining your complaint and concerns, let them know what is going on. Take plenty of pictures of your sink, the pots and pans, whatever. During the presentation were you told that your pots and pans could give you Alzheimer's, severe cancers, or could kill your babies? Gather as much information as you can, that's what we're doing. We will also be running a classifieds ad asking people to join a class action lawsuit. These people are liars and scammers, Pennsylvania and California have ordered them to cease and desist their scams but they have not. Send a certified letter to the headquarters in Madison Wisconsin, keep copies for yourself. Don't give up, I REFUSE to let this spoil my wedding, don't let it spoil yours!
