Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Bought a car from them March 3rd, returned it on March 4th for new transmission.  Was told they needed to order a transmission.  Picked it up on March 7th because was told that they got the transmission but were waiting on an appointment.  Was told we would hear from them by the 9th or 10th about the appointment and could bring it back then.  March 10th I found out that they sold my transmission and no one ever even attempted to get the appointment.  Another transmission was then ordered and we dropped our car off on that day since it was not really drivable at that point.  On March 14th another transmission came in but it was supposedly no good so they reordered yet another one.  The third and final transmission was there on March 16th.  My car was sent out either the evening of March 16th or early morning of March 17th (no one knows exactly when) and returned to them on March 20th.

When I contacted them on March 20th I was informed that they had the car and they were "just putting it back together" and would give me a call as soon as it was done.  I never heard anything back from them.  I then contacted them on March 21st (today) and was told that the transmission was all good but that it was now in line to get the multifunction switch replaced but they probably couldn't get to it today.  After they had it for over a week before it even got sent out for the transmission job I wonder why in the world the switch wasn't fixed before the transmission?  Or what about when they were "putting the car back together"?  Why didn't they do the switch at that time?  Also, every single time I call and talk to someone in service I am informed that a bunch of mechanics called in that day and they only have 1 or 2 mechanics available but they are trying to get to my car.

Now today I was informed that there have been other people who bought cars BEFORE me who still do not have their cars!  What is going on there?  Why aren't these cars fixed before they try to sell them?  We have tried to be patient because the only reason we even went to RPM in the first place is because a relative works there and the relative assured us that everything would be fine.  That was a flat out lie.  Since this whole ordeal has started we have been told multiple times that if we weren't related to the employee then the car wouldn't have ever been fixed because it's "not something we normally do"....um, well what is it that you normally do?  Allow people to drive off and have a running vehicle for a week before it breaks down and they are stranded?  This place is a pathetic excuse of a business with completely worthless customer service and even being related to an employee I would NOT recommend that anyone EVER go there.
