Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

My husband and I bought a car from them when our other car was repo but Drive time AKA Ugly Duckling. We needed a vechial and we went in with the miminual that you could have to put down. We found a car and my husband test drove it and it had the check engine light on and he told them and they agree to fix it no matter what it would cost. We waited for the call to come and get the car. After we got the car we drove it home and the check engine light came back on.

So we took it to a different machince to see what is the problem and to come find out they just bypass it to turn it off. Well the problem is going to cost us at least 2 grand to fix what we know about. Then we got one month behind they are threaten to repo the car from us. How can I make a payment when I need to sink money into to be able to drive it? I would never by a another car from them unless I had no other choice. They sell a bunch of lemons for way to much money. So if your thinking about buyinga car from them make sure you have a machinic with you and have check it all the way around.

First of all, you start out saying that your deadbeat a@@ had the first car repo.  Then you are surprised that RPM is concerned when you get a month behind (that's FOUR payments).

Here is a list of the grammatical errors that you made in one paragraph:

"when our other car was repo" - repoed
vechial - vehicle
miminual - minimum
"tey agree to fix" - agreed
machince - mechanic
"to come find out" - come to find out
"they are threaten" - threatening
"into to be able" - into it
by - buy
your - you're

Perhaps if you had more than a fourth grade education, you wouldn't be having the problems you are.

Did you take the short yellow bus to school when you were younger? First of all, spell check could be your friend and people may be able to understand this better. Let them repo the car again. Your credit is already down the pooper. I don't see the rip off here.

Poverty and illiteracy often go hand in hand

Well "anonymous",

It appears that people who are illiterate never get a good job or make a good income, and live a life of bad financial options like subprime loans and buy here pay here, etc.

And, you cannot "bypass" a check engine light. The light is activated by a fault code in the computer. Even if you drill a hole in the dash and take out the lightbulb altogether, the "fault" will still be there.

Used cars have problems. You will always have to put money into any used car. That is just the way it works. BUT, the loan payments have nothing to do with the repairs, legally. If you withhold payment, the car gets repo'd. That's just the way it works.

And, you always have to get any "promises" to fix something IN WRITING to protect your rights. Never just believe a salesman. That is just plain stupid.

So, it is you that do not know what you are talking about regarding cars.

What is a "machinic"?? Did you mean "mechanic"? What is a "vechial"? Did you mean "vehicle"?

You lash out at someone giving you sound advice, but you bring your problems on yourself, and can't see it.

1st of all, you don't know the whole side of the story with the 1st repo and we just didn't over look it. We are paying it off and working on our credit. You have no clue on what is going on with us. For this car we are update on our payments now. Till you have been in my shoes then you can speak. You really don't know what bills we are paying and what we have worked out with the DT Corp. office to finish paying it off. For you to see that we just over look our repo then you need to check yourself and you are not a man when you call women those kind of names! I have the car that I am talking about in my original post. So you can go where the sun don't shine to talk to me like you know me and see what I do everyday and how I spend my money.

Your first car gets repoed and you just gloss over that like nothing happened. Then you buy this piece of junk, AGAIN fail to make a payment on time and b***h and moan they want to repo STILL ANOTHER car from you.

Do you ever learn? Do you ever even remotely consider trying to develope a good credit reputation so that you can get a better car?

Or, like in so many cases, SUBPRIME borrowing and SUBPRIME thinking is a way of life for you?
