My ordeal happened a few years ago but I see they haven't gotten any better. I ordered a Whipple supercharger for my 2005 mustang back in 2006. Apparently the supercharger wasn't available yet but they neglected to tell me that. I waited a few weeks but never got a shipping confirmation, I called and was told that it was to be released that week and it would ship immediately. I waited but nothing ever happened, I called many times but got the same answer everytime. After waiting a few months I got tired of paying interest on a credit card and getting nothing for it. I cancelled my order and got the same BS 10% restocking fee. I tried to fight it because why should I pay a restocking fee on something they never stocked. I never got anywhere with them or the BBB because they don't care about customers. I wrote about it on mustangforums.com and apparently they have people that work there that are members. They wrote me an email saying that I was slandering their name and their lawyer would sue. I wrote them back stating that I only put the facts (which isn't slander) and I also told them their lawyer was a complete idiot because written "slander" is actually called "libel" which isn't the case because I only stated the facts. I called their ridiculous attempt at a bluff and actually posted both theirs and my email on the forums. Apparently they knew when to quit because I never heard anything back from them. I still have all the emails back and forth throughout the ordeal. I would love for them to attempt a lawsuit, so I could contact all the other customers that got ripped off and they would have to pay all of us back. Come on RPMoutlet.......I dare you!!!!!
