Ruesch Motor Company is out to take your money and never give you a product. In October of 2008 I gave them almost 50 thousand dollar for 4 UTV's /side by side atvs. I was told I would have them by the beginning of 2009. I was then told March of 09. I was told in March of 09 that they would be ready by late May early June . Every few months I was told just a little bit longer. Then in October of 09 I was told the UTV's would be ready by Christmas of 09 . It is now May of 2010 and they still have my money and I do not have any UTV's from Ruesch Motor Company.(Panther 1000 and now it is called the Panther Alpha Male 150hp) I have demanded my money to be returned since July of 2009. I have sent register letters from my lawyer and received no response at all from this company. I call them every 2 weeks and I am told that they will have money in 2 more weeks. I will do everything I can at this point to get my money back. I do not want anyone else to have to deal with the problems or lose there money like I have with Ruesch Motor company.
James Ruesch is at it again. Scrapbook Trade Expo is his newest way to make money. Be very careful doing business with this man or company. He still owes me $50,000 dollars from 2008.I can name a lot of other people he still owes. Just be aware this man is a scam/con artist.
Bankrupt from this...

I am a victim of ruesch, I have invested $100 000.00 into this company. I received 6 units from them and 2 were incomplete upon arrival, I also have been waiting like everyone else for the so called "150hp" unit. I have been trying for the last several months to get any response from this "company". I don't understand how some people can look at them selfs everyday and not be completely ashamed of their self. It is sad that I put my neck on the line to think that I had a good thing going, all I ended up doing was putting my family at risk. I have had to claim bankruptcy due to all of this. The lack of communication is terrible. I want to know where my money is? What do you honestly have to say for your self? How do you sleep at night knowing you have forced people to loose their homes and everything else? This sickens me I cannot believe how you can talk to me and make it seem like nothing was wrong. I talked to you in september and you didn't even have the decency to tell me the truth on what was going on... HOW COULD YOU BE SO DISHONEST? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH EVERYONES MONEY????? I hope that you get what you deserve I am sorry to say. You should be giving people your information so at least they can be added to your "Bankruptcy" it is only fair to give back what you have taken and what is and was never YOUR money. I have contacted your local authorities and there will be a end to this for you I promise. I hope that everyone who reads this contacts them as well for it will be sent to the civil court.

Wow, I am a consumer of a Ruesh utv and mine looks alot like the picture above, in shambles. I am extremely glad I didnt invest as much time, money and hopes in this company for my financial future, but I did invest my families time, money and recreation. One way you could make this right with your hundreds of customers is by giving us a source to keep our utv's on the dirt and not cloging up our garages. Please suply us with the phone numbers of a parts source, or if you have a building or backyard full of parts, make them available. After all, that was one of your claims were all the other guys failed.

Ruesch Motor Company is closing. We have tried to do all we can to endure the current financial crisis but find that despite a huge acceptance of our machines the simple fact is that our consumers are unable to get financing. We have continued to spend money in product development and overhead through 2008 and 2009 hoping to weather the storm. If the economy is improving we havent seen it.
We have been approached by several individuals hoping to buy into Ruesch Corporation which encouraged us in the short term but the same economy challenges Ruesch is experiencing have also affected investors ability to secure funding through traditional lending channels. We had a good product and high hopes but In the end it has been too little too late as we see ourselves walking the same road as Chrysler, Circuit City and hundreds of other companies much bigger than us.
We do not agree with all the comments made on this website nor do we agree with the cowardly way in which they have been represented. Anyone can say anything on the web. Just Google Chrysler rip off or even Yamaha Rip off. They both have hundreds of comments by people who dont state their name and hide behind aliases.
Never the less, I do admit that people have been hurt by our inability to move forward and people have also lost money because they believed in the company and they believed in me. I have failed publicly, people have been hurt and it has been a terrible experience. If it was within my power to fix, I WOULD.

Sorry I didnot tell the truth in #4 that I wrote before.
I am not belong to the manufactuer. In fact, I worked for James before in China.
And speak here also hope some one about the UTV will contact me, to do business as a trader. But infact I am wrong. Something I did may hurt the manufactuer, and I do not want to hurt the manufactuer. All that is just my personal words. No business and not representive to the manufactuer. Not the manufactuer's meaning.
So, there is none of business of the manufactuer.
James, that is I worte, sorry. All of others, that is just because of my personaly.

I worked for the chinese UTV side x side manufacture which James bought the UTV from.
As the supplier we also felt it was really hard to work with him. Many parts he dedice to change some in our UTV is unreasonable, but he always pretended he is a professional in design, produces, etc. For example, we told him what he want to make the Panther 1000 is really not good at the quality, we are refused to produce even if he can pay the money, and he can pay the money to produce. Because the biggest problem is the gearbox. He find asked us to find a chinese gearbox to fit the Weber motor, that is not work well and never will work well. And also, he want to do the 4x4 elecric UTV, we said that is not good, but he insisted us to produce, and we said if you sell this 4x4electric UTV, you will distory the customer and the market. But he said need us to consider the aftersale. Because the motor is small, so it will easy to be burned when it runs in 4x4 in electric. And always he like to change idea of the order. I can say what the text said in above is total truth, James always will say something just in the dream, and many times he said, he would sell more and more, but every time was faked.
As a chinese UTV manufacture, I understand that you are not so happy with our quality. But what we sell to him is really good, the reason some customer find there is something wrong or scratch in the new UTV, that is because he is no warehouse in US. When he receive the container from us, he just open the container in port, and ship each UTV where it is to go. It will be very easy to have some problem do it like this.
And in fact we sell to james in cheaper price, and the price of his model XR, XRM, and XRL is almost the same, no more than 4000USD. But I did not know how much he sell in US market, why 4 UTV need 50,000 USD? We just do what we can best, and in our price.
James did not gave you the UTV after you pay the money, he also didnot pay us when he take the container of UTV in the last order.
Any one who want to buy our UTV directly from us, we can sell him in cheaper price.

RE: The James Ruesch Scam, James Ruesch Financial Status, James Ruesch China Chinese UTV, Ruesch Motor Company, Panther Alpha Male
Like the original poster here, our company also has been ripped off, lied to, provided false information, and has been promised over and over and over again that our Ruesch Panther Alpha Male 150hp machines are being sent. The James Ruesch scam has not even produced them yet. He has a proto type that went through dozens of malfunctions, and to this day isn't rolling off the cheap Chinese factory line yet. The factory is not his, but is one that he has REBUILD a cheap knockoff UTV into something he can sticker as his own. The chassiss and many of the main components for all the models are also used for many other cheap Chinese UTVs and James Ruesch is simply adding his own suspension and other minor parts, then calls it all his own build. Do your goggling and youll find it, our private investigator did.
PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK and research. Except for this site with the new postings, for some very odd reason he has been able to stay off the negative radar and continue his money sucking deals with new dealers that he acquires and takes new orders from. He is a master at doing this, and in fact the above "employee" post (Lie) could only be him, or MAYBE two other employees that he has had in the past. His operation largely exists with only himself, one sales person and one office helper. Do a search for Utah corporations and youll find that between himself and his wife Michelle, they have many businesses all with the same location and address. Ruesch Motor Company projects an image of some well established large corporation, but it is 95% James Ruesch and his smoke and mirrors. There is no staffed legal department, finance department, printing department, media department, ECT. There is James Ruesch, maybe a couple of helpers and that is it. Need baby shoes? Yep his corp. headquarters stocks and sells those too, but again research it for yourself. When researching, keep in mind that many assets are held in his wifes name.
BUYER OR POTENTIAL DEALER BEWARE: James Ruesch has mastered the art of deception during his "Dealer Trainings" in Las Vegas and will lead you into a pit of misery if you decide to give this crook money. PLEASE ASK HIM POINT BLANK for financial statements and see what kind of rhetoric you receive. You wont get them, thats guaranteed. WHY? Well do your research of records at Utah Iron County Recorders office either in person or online and youll see for yourself why. James Ruesch and Ruesch Motor Company financial status is broke.
Our company has amassed a huge collection of disinformation, largely acquired by a private investigator who did a lot of digging. Because we are discussing litigation with our attorney now, well refrain from posting it. BUT again be aware, most can be found if you dig deep enough.

I purchased a Ruesch in May 2009. Had it a total of 13 - 15 days. Been in the shop
all the rest of the time waiting for repairs and especially Parts.
Ruesch has made some small attempts to appease us. It has been too long and we want our money.
They put it all off on the dealer and their support of the dealer has been minimal.
Ruesch has moved from Utah to Ontario, CA. Still waiting to talk with James Ruesch
before we start legal action and negative ad campaign.
This machine had signs of a lot of use before we got it. Wished I had got pictures from the start.

I can provide copies of the registered letter and the signature of where it was signed for by the owner of the company.
I have contacted your office weekly for the last two years and I always get the same response. " We will have something for you in two weeks" After two years your company has not produced the UTV that we ordered and paid for.
This should not be a surprise to anyone that works for this company.

This is the first time I have heard of this issue. I have been with the company for several years in a management position and can say I have yet to see a certified letter from any lawyer or Dealer / Master Dealer delivered to us.
