Rush Fitness Center Rush rips off pregnant female Knoxville, Tennessee
I was ripped off by the Rush Fitness Center. My husband had just left me for another woman and I was six months pregnant and have two other children. The sales man convinced me, he would give me this super fabuolous deal, if I paid the amount in full, in the next three months, a total of $1500. This was going to include gym membership and some personal training sessions. At no time did he mention anything about monthly payments. When the money started coming out of my checking account every month, I re-read my contract and saw where he had written in an additional $58 a month for 3 years. I was completely taken advantage of. All the monies totaled $100 a month for a gym membership for 3 years. I couldn't believe I was tricked like that. I paid my money every month for 3 years, because I had signed the contract. I closed my checking account after the last payment.
Well, I received a bill in the mail, the next month from a collection ageny for $73. And I paid that as well. Then they sent me a bill for $154. I sent the required registered letter to stop any further billing, as I did not want a month to month contract. That was three weeks ago and I am still getting harrassing phone calls from a collection ageny. I have never in my life had a collections agency call me and this is so unbelieveably stressful. I can't believe how this company treats their clients. I will never do buisness with the Rush again.
