The RV Mobile Medic was called to replace a pair of springs on a leveler that did not retract which I paid for and provided. He quoted me 85.00 to replace the springs. 1 hr. When the leveler still did not retract after he installed the springs he called the manufacturer HWH tech dept. and said they said it was either the solenoid  or the leveler it’s self.He next called my warranty company to start a claim because the sonenoid would cost more than my deductible. He replaced the solenoid and it still did not retract. It took an hour and a half to go get the part and the part was 205.00. I know how long it took because I drove him to get it at Lazy Days. It took 30 minutes to install. He said he called HWH for a new leveler and they did not have a leveler and it would be back ordered 7 weeks. He had done all he could. I asked him repeatedly what Cornerstone, the warranty company would say when I found someone to fix it. He stated repeatedly they would open a new claim because it was a different part.

When I got to Ocala fl. 4 days later I called B&E who is on the HWH web site as a HWH repair company.

They were able to get the leveler from HWH overnight. I believe Jeff, RV Medic was over his head on the job and lied to get out of it. Or he did not have the credit to buy the parts. He has no place of business and lives and works out of an RV .

When B&E called Cornerstone to file a claim for the leveler they denied the claim because Jeff had charged them 800.00 to fix the leveler and told them it was fixed. He had a 90 day warranty on the work and he had to fix it. I had to pay B&E 857.00 to fix the leveler.

I have tried repeatedly to contact Jeff and he would not answer the phone or return emails. I asked him in an email to just split the cost of the repair and in the only email I recieved from him he agreed to pay 450.00. I have not heard from him since. NO calls no emails no money.

He collected 800.00 from my insurance Company, I paid him 150.00 deductible and all I got were the springs installed I bought and a solenoid I didn't need that he wouldn't take back because it was "used" I am out 857.00 plus 150.00 for a useless repair by a guy who was not honest. He ripped off me and my insurance Company.

All I wanted was to split the bill for 450.00

If I ever get the 450.00 I will be satisfied, how fair is that?

Since the first report I have been in further communication with the Warrenty Company who sent me a copy of the work order submitted by Jeff Kirkwood the RV Mobil Medic and I learned that in addition to the first reported rip off he submitted a work order for payment and charged them 150.00 for the springs that I had bought and paid for and provided to him to install. He also forged my signature on the work order accepting the work. They have agreed to reinburse me for the 856.00 bill I paid and are going after him.
