I have similar experiences as OP.I placed a prescription sunglasses order online with
rx-safety.com on a Oakley Whisker Frame and DriveWear lenses on Jan 15th
2010. The glasses arrived on Feb. 3rd 2010 with a wrong frame so I
shipped the order back on Feb. 5th 2010. The replacement sunglasses did
not arrive until Feb. 24th 2010. I was shocked when I try the new
glasses on. Everything is so blurry, near and far, and the new glasses
makes me feel very dizzy. I thought it may be new and I am not used to
it so I tried it on my way home. I can not see any freeway signing
clearly and the glasses almost caused and accident. I rechecked the
glasses next and below is what I found.

We manufactured a pair of glasses to his specification and they did not work for him. Then we we remade the product 2 times more to try and correct the problem that he was having but he still said they did not work. We lost money all the way around with this customer we bent over backwards to make the glasses work for him. The glasses were made to exactly what he specified on his prescription form but for some reason the wrap around style bothered his eye's. We offered to put them in a flat frame no charge didn't want that wanted a full refund. We told hime we could not do that we had to follow the return policy that he was aware of and that is posted clearly on our website that we don't give full refunds unless its our mistake and this is not our mistake. There was no mistake on our part we make the lenses 100% to his prescription. Our return policy states that we would give him 1/2 the lens credit plus the full frame cost back towards another pair of glasses from our online sote he didn't want that so we refunded the money to his card so we ended up eating all the labor and shipping 3 times to him. All he lost was 1/2 the lens credit about 60.00. We didn't run from the problem but unfortuatly not everyone that orders from you will be satisfied and we tried to accomidate him to the best of our abilty.
