S & G Enterprises Nathan Vinh Grant I signed a contract with Vinh to replace windows in my house 11/09, and gave him a deposit--I still have no windows and no money. Denver, Colorado
I signed a contract with Vinh Grant on 11-24-09 to replace the windows in my house. I also gave him a deposit at that time of $3,647.10. The windows were supposed to be installed in December, and January. I have contacted him several times, and received various dates for the installation, various excuses for why the work was not done, and promises to return my money. The last email I received from him Was 4-26-10. He said at that time he was going to file for bankruptcy, but that he would personally guarantee the return of my money. I have not received any notice that he did file. I still have no windows and no money. I filed a complaint with the D A's Economic Crime Unit on 2-15-10. I have talked with people there a couple of times, the most recent being today. I talked with Norm Vialpando an investigator. He said the case had not been closed, but that he had been busy with other cases and would try to get to mine soon. He also said he had a complaint from another lady that he had done the same thing to.
I am concerned that not only did I not get my money back, but that he is out there doing the same thing to other people and nothing is being done to stop him. I asked our HOA to put a note in our newsletter, and they were not even willing to do that because of the "legal liability".
