safecart internet company selling drivers safecart: do not order anything! enter
to whom it may concern,
i write this as a warning to anyone who is looking for free driver downloads on any of the sites such as dell and intel. not there is anything wrong with these sites. it is just there are too many other internet services who post their links on them to confuse anyone seeking help.
this is the case with me. i had just got a dell computer online for $50. and it works great. problem is it had issues with its audio driver. so i sort help on the dell website. sure enough i got the info on some drivers that can be downloaded. so i preceeeded to download them. when i hit the link it took to me to safe cart.
safecart was charging me for drivers to be downloaded for a total of 49.98. so i used paypal to pay for it. and as it downloaded. the site that i downloaded from cancelled.. i checked my DSL. and it was connected. i learned that when the downloaded was completed. it never downloaded the software that i purchased.
i filed a dispute with paypal. and gave them the info. (enclosed). however safecart denied that i sent them any payment whatsoever.
so i learned a hard lesson. to be careful not to pay for any download software unless i do a background check.
don't get me wrong. i know there are a few good companies out there. but it these other companies that spoil online shopping. and btw i did fix my dell computer by purchasing a driver restore cd for it on Amazon.
i lost some money. money i could of use for something else. and like i said it was a hard lesson. one i want to share as a warning.
