I recently noticed a woman taking photographs of the homes in my neighborhood including the front doors, back entrances, pools and windows. When she photographed my next door neighbors home I approached her since he is a close acquaintance. She said she had been hired to photograph any empty home with no cars present in our neighborhood. This is a resort community of second homes and summer rentals. I first saw her a month ago photographing homes on the sound. After that, many homes were robbed.
They seem to contact home owners using scare tactics and try to get you to hire them for security. The interesting thing is their was no security issue until they began photographing the entrances, exits, windows and pools of all our properties. The woman taking the pictures had no id. She had no information about her employee. The police were notified and she claimed to work for a mortgage lender who wanted our homes photographed. These people are HIGHLY suspect in every way..... Taking illegal photographs then frightening people into using their services. Very Mofia like...stay away from them. Many bad reviews in all aspects of the business.
