Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Sallie Mae and ECMC needs to be investigated. One of the most dishonest things they do is lie about you being in default. Why? That is how they got rich. And when I say rich i mean rich beyond anything you could ever imagine.

One of ECMC hires works 1hr a week and earns(earns is a joke) 865,578 a year. I repeat one hour a week. That is documented on the 990 or go to guidestar.org. You can see for yourself.

My story is I never defaulted because I was in a rehabilitation program with Higher Education and ECMC. They had 12 checks of mine and cashed each one ever month and sent a thank you note. At the end of 12th month I received a congratulation letter from higher Ed saying I completed my program with them. The 11 month ECMC said I defaulted. Big lie and I have the proof.

However, remember this is a big business and big money is made by Sallie Mae and ECMC. So you try and you try to fight the Goliath. However, they have so much power in Washington you make a small dent. They give millions to our politicians to put laws for the benefit of Sallie Mae and her loan shark collection agents.

I want you to know this. I did not default on my student loan when they said I did. I borrowed $8000, I have paid over $24,000 to date. They have now garnished my small pension and they want $38,000.

Do NOT get a loan from Sallie Mae, soon to be owned by J.P. Flowers. You will regret the day you ever did. They will lie and cheat and you will spend years and years and years trying to show how wrong they are. But they are powerful.

The saddest part of this student loan issue is that many student borrowers have taken their lives because they could not fight any more. Please go to

http://studentloanjustice.org/victims.htm and pick your state and read a victims story. They are so sad. I am one of many.
