Salon charisma Philip amodei Ruined my hair I believe purposely...false advertising Las Vegas Nevada
I purchase a groupon to this salon a couple of months ago for a haircut and balayage highlights. Sat at salon and he proceeded to tell me that this would not work for my hair as it was blond and long, I had looked bayalage up prior to my visit and there were plenty of women with my color and style that had it done so I figured he either did not want to do them or didn't know how, he said for an additional $75.00 he could do a weave and I let him.. had just had my roots done two weeks prior by my usual lady. The hair looked ok and so I went again to get roots touched up a month later...he stated that I needed to wait 4-6 mnths to redo roots (been touching up roots now for twenty years) he seemed totally baffled and went into one of his speeches...anyhow did hair and I went home, I noticed that my hair was still grey in front and that the roots were not covered at all! ....just had my eyes lazered and don't see too well is why I didn't see in the salon. I went to salon to ask for a refund and he wasn't there, left a note and he called and apologized and talked me into letting him redo it instead. In salon chair he asked if I wanted the roots to match the top of my head or the bottom???? I said the hair needed to match...he then put on the color to roots and proceeded to paint downward 4-6 inches and cover in foil as one would do to weave the hair I noticed also that it had a strong odor although he claimed to use some Italian color which is not harsh on the hair. He left it on for fifty minutes or so... a rather long time and I was getting concerned, this was supposed to be a root touch up. Finally he had one of the girls wash my hair and I sat for the comb out...my hair looked white! Whereas before it was a very pretty natural blond, I told him it looked white as he proceeded to yank and pull the tangles from my hair. He dried it and asked what I thought, I said it looked white and he gave me a disgusted look and said that I was now a beautifull blond color... I said because my eyes were still a little blurry I would look closer at home. Of course he had bleached my hair, it's now white and an ugly yellow color about five inches down and the worst part is that he still did not even manage to cover the grey! I went back to the salon and demanded that he give me back my money.... this would not even cover the cost of having my hair redone properly and inability to havemy formerly healthy hair restored, he said he would not return my money and told me to leave the shop (he had a customer in there, only the second one in the five times I had been in there) I asked if he even had a license and told him off as he had also screwed up my daughters hair, he pretty much pulled exactly the same groupon thing with her... her hair is a mess also and her previously healthy hair all dried up. It seems he uses the groupon to get girls in there and then says for some reason it won't work for them to get them to spend more money on something else. In all the years of getting my hair done he is the worst I have ever come across.
