Salvage Bid /Auto Bid Master Posted picture of a Motor Home and sold me a 5th. Wheel Trailer, I refused to pay for Portland, Or. Internet
In December of 2013 , on a Buy It Now purchase, bid and bought a vehicle from Salvage Bid. A picture of what I was buying was shown to be a 2000 George Town EX Motor Home. I did not pay attention to Van # posted ( stupid mistake) , so went ahead and bid ( by picture & description) on listing. However, when time came to pay, vehicle turned out to be a Fleet wood XL 5th. Camper , which was not a picture of what I supposedly had bought. After maybe 10 to 15 phone calls to a woman named Dorothy @359-347-1300 , trying to explain that the vehicle they had sold me was not what ( again from picture) to please null & void the sale. Would not do that, now their collection department is send Ind me letters trying to collect $2550 , with no offer to sell me what I was led to believe I had purchased . Am very lucky, I didn't complete the transaction and be stuck with a piece of junk I did not want. If dealing with these people, be very careful, and very sure of what you are buying. They will Noah listen to any explanations, turn a deaf ear, and bill you for something you didn't even know you had bought.
