I had been trying to purchase a salvaged truck for 6 months at Salvage Bid and everytime I would win a bid they would place a 300 hold on my checking account using my debit card and everytime I would lose the bid when the vehicle auction went live.
YOU WILL NEVER WIN A VEHICLE W THESE GUYS AND THEY CONTINUE TO REPOST THE SAME VEHICLES. Next thing I know is they email me stating I have bought a boat, I don't even have a truck to haul a boat let alone one without a trailer as they state I bid on. I close down my account and 3 weeks latter my bank neglected to close my debit card and Salvage Bid charges my old credit card 2-$300 bid retailatory charges.
They literally steal from potential clients. Do not use this company. You will never win a bid and they will accuse you of placing a bid and then admit that occassionally customers place unintentional bids however they reserve the right to charge you for the unintentional bid. I am not kidding when I repeat what they told me. These are not people anyone should ever do business with. They are scammers from the word go and you will never win a salaged vehicle from them. DO NOT EVER USE SALVAGE BID, you will be scammed!

I sent salvagebid a $600 deposit, a few days later I told them to use $200 of my deposit for the live bid fee. I discovered this company is all about collecting fees and stealing your deposit. I told them to cancel live bid and return my $600.
They said they could only return about $350. They have not returned any money to me. Salvage is a total ripoff. Do not believe positive reviews. If you are a victum of salvagebid contact Attorney Generals office consumer resource center Vancouver Wa. 206-464-6684

Do not use these companies! Salvage bid charged my debit card $600 saying I bought a boat from them!
DO NOT use a DEBIT card or a CREDIT card with these people. You will never win a bid with them and then when you quit using their site because you win the BID but are always outbid when the auction goes to the insurance and dealer you become bored and quit using their site then six months later they will charge your account saying you purchased a vehicle from them when you did not!
SALVAGE BID has now changed theri name to AUTO BID MASTER and they are now trying to get another $600 out of me saying a owe on a boat that I didn't pick up and they had to relist! That is according to my mathe $1200 for a boat relisting that I never purchase and to make matters worse the boat was a 2000 boat w no trailer and hull damage complete w a hole!
DO NOT USE AUTO BID MASTER!
