The previous claims stated very well what a Samaritan Fundraising stands for. Our church was looking for alternative fund raising and we came across Samaritan Cards on CHRISTIAN WEBSITE (Samaritan Fundraising.com.) This seemed to be a good fit for our need. Without any hesitation we placed an order for 1000 card and paid $500 at front because we had a conference on June 3-5 and we planned to sale more cards on those three days. As their ad indicated they gave us 250 cards free and we have to pay for the rest (i.e. 750 cards) (to good to be true). The representative promised us to ship the card overnight. However, after a day or so, he called us and he said he could not keep his promise and the cards will be delayed. He gave us a $500 discount. Anyway, we agreed to get the cards the following week. The cards delivered after 10 days. Since we could not get actual information until the card was delivered, we were quite surprised to find the offers no better than what we could get to our daily JUNK EMAILS. Our thought was, we will activate the card and provide the card to designate companies/shop and get the discount. Samaritan Fundraising makes false or misleading comments to what the card offered. We were so upset within a few hours of reviewing their deals. The back of the card states CARD NOT FOR PRESENTATION IN STORE, see website for printable coupons and for thousands of other ways to save money in store and online. Really? So what is the point of having the Cards? This is not better than the coupons we get every day in our JUNK emails. This is real RIP-OFF AND SCAM. Therefore, we decided on the spot to return all the Samaritan cards and we did. Then we sent an e-mail to let them know that the cards returned to their office because the cards are not working for us and want 100% of our money back . After we returned the package and sent an e-mail, we found an e-mail from them saying that their return policy would only return 25% of the cards. Wow, it is now crystal clear that this is a scam. If a company believes in their product they will never shy back to return the product and give you a full refund. We exchanged a quite many e-mails with the one of the representative and started to intimidate us by saying we will send you to a collection agency and they did. Now, the collection agency (szabo Associates Inc) started calling us in everyday basis. They (Samaritan Fundraising) are not shy back to destroy your credit by send you to collection agency instead of changing their product and be an example as being referred in bible SAMARITAN. If you think the law is only in your side, then you are making a wrong decision. We ask you respectfully to return our hard earning money fully and stop rip-off others.
