Let the Buyer Beware!
Wilson literally looted Puerto Vallarta Golf Academy when he left, so it's very likely that any golf-related equipment he's trying to sell now is not his. Make him prove otherwise, but keep in mind that Wilson kept in his own name much of what was actually purchased for the academy with the corporations funds. Any invoices from 2005-2006 offered as proof are suspect.

The lad that submitted this report is correct in almost everything he said right up to the last thing. He did offer and I accepted but alas i wasnt willing to release the unit to his care before being paid as by e bay rules. He wasnt willing to do it through pay pal so I declined his offer and he obviously didnt like it. The unit was legit and it was sold for conciderably less to a pro in Malasia and the deal was mediated by Sean Smith the marketing manager of Zelocity. If you care to drop Sean an e mail at [email protected] he will confirm everything. The unit was sold through e bay, paid for by pay pal and the new owner is happy. Obviously these reports made by these 2 fools above soured his attitude and things went out the window.
The reason why I am posting this is becasue an internet troll that has read this report is trying to blackmail me not to publish my address after I reported him to the police.

All I just wanted to let you know what Sam Wilson is still trying to scam people...
I almost just fell for his lies myself but something didn't fit right so I did some goggling which lead me here and saved me some money!
Sam Wilson is currently selling a Zelocity PureLaunch Golf Launch Monitor on Ebay UK item # 261096565180 under his eBay name sampvt2012
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Zelocity-Purelaunch-ball-tracking-launch-monitor-dopplar-radar-/261096565180?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D1970703752383949985%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26
I sent him an email via eBay asking some questions about the launch monitor as I was seriously interested and he replied and asked for a contact number for myself so I sent him my mobile number.
He then called me and started giving the hard sell about the Launch Monitor luckily for me my friend has one the same and I've used it so knew exactly all about it. I asked if I could see it working before I bought it but this is when things started smelling fishy to me. Sam said he had cancer and was just looking to sell off his old Golf club building equipment that he had brought back from Mexico where he had his own Teaching Academy and was now in a hospice so he wouldn't be able to show me it working etc.
I had a think about it and called Sam back and offered him 650 GBP for the Launch Monitor which he accepted and we sorted out the details about him shipping it to me even though I said I was happily drive the 2 hour (each way) journey to collect it but he again said about the cancer and not being able to do it, so I gave him my address and took his wife Pauline as it happened bank details and I agreed that he was to pull the eBay auction and I was do a bank transfer this evening when my wife was home.
Again something about Sam and his story didn't sit right with me so I googled 'Sam Wilson club builder' and found this thread which I'm rather relieved about!
So if anyone would like Sam Wilsons email address or mobile number please contact me
All the best and thanks for saving me some of my cash!

My name is Rob Engle. The earlier rebutal here by Ketchman is the REAL BS!!! As someone that maintains a number of current close friendships with residents of Puerto Vallarta, I can say for a fact that the Puerto Vallarta Golf Academy is long closed: the windows on the building are broken, the electricity is turned off, weeds have overgrown the mown areas, and there are no employees or a "Director" of the facility as Ketchman alludes. The property on which the academy building stood was on rented land, in a ghetto neighborhood outside PV, and has been taken back by the original owner of the property after Sam Wilson fell many months behind in paying the rent. Chances are that Ketchman is just another alias for Sam Wilson, or Samuel Herbert Wilson, or any other alias the conman goes under today to avoid the authorities. Personally, I have NEVER been charged with, or convicted of, a criminal offense in the United States of America. I have never been employed by any so-called "time share scammers;" my working career was in the golf business (as an instructor and clubmaker) and as a journalist. I was NEVER deported from Mexico, detained by any autorities there, nor was I charged with any crimes or arrested for any criminal activity during the time I resided in the that country. I actually still maintain an open passport. And finally I was never fired as an employee of the Puerto Vallarta Golf Academy, nor was I ever accused of a "sexually devient act against a junior employee." Quite simply I quit; because of the illegals acts, lies, thefts, and misrepresentations Sam Wilson instigated during my brief tenure at the Academy. Immediately afterwards I opened my own business, Rocket Golf & Clubwerks, in the Plaza Marina in Puerto Vallarta - but chose to close the business at the urgings of personal friends and advisors because of the ongoing personal threats, libelous slanderings, and legal attacks Sam Wilson took against me was his own business crumbled around him, and returned I to the United States. The "directors and board of the academy" (financial backers) had withdrawn their support of Sam Wilson after I myself had come forward to a consortium of those backers with testimomy backing their own beliefs that Wilson's academy was nothing more than a money pit and a way for him to scam additional funds from an on-going, ever-growing list of potential shareholders in the establishment -- or nothing more than a pyramid scheme of sorts. At that point they cut off the flow of cash to Sam Wilson. The above listed posting(s) by Jim Fraser are 100% accurate relative to any information about Sam Wilson, and his own experiences working for the PVGA. I back them unoquivicably. It was through Mr. Fraser's and my contact, and his own investigative work in Europe, that we were able to piece together the real truth about Sam Wilson and what eventually helped force him out of Mexico. But this was not to be until Sam Wilson was himself, and his wife Pauline (who plays innocent, but is as much a crook as he is), were detained by Mexican Immigration officials before mistakenly being freed by an unwary jailkeeper over a weekend - at which time he fleed the country for Europe. This past winter I was forwarded a Christmas greeting Wilson had sent to a number of contacts, since he's still under the impression he has friends out there, in which he bragged openly about he and Pauline's new Pub (location unknown). So I wouldn't be the least surprised that this is just his latest scheme and the sooner people catch on, or the authorities catch up with him, the better off this world will be with him spending the rest of his time behind bars (and not in them).

Let me give you the true facts, as I was there. I flew out to Puerto Vallarta on the 21st of June 2005. After experiencing the con and scam artistry at first hand of Wilson. I decided I could not work with a thief, because in my time there, that's all he did from the investors was blatantly stole from them. I decided to fly back home on the 10th of August 2005 once I had tracked down all my stock and equipment at Nuevo Laredo on the Texan USA border. The PVGA opened at the end of August 2005 but only for a couple of months as he had run out of money again. (probably gambling ) The Ketchman report has been written by Wilson himself I know how he operates, let me also put you right on the statement regarding Rob Engle, also more lies by Wilson. I personally bailed Rob Engle out of Puerta Vallarta, as I advised him to get out as Wilson was up to no good as usual by putting his Pro Bono lawyers onto him with blatant lies. I sent Rob a $1000 via Western Union, he called me the next evening to let me know that he was back in the USA. He was not arrested as Wilson claims in his Ketchman disguise. And also his fictitious statement regarding a younger member of staff, just type in the search on the rip off report THE SWAN and you will then see who the pervert was. I personally had experience with Wilson in Mexico. I went to work for him at the Puerto Vallarta golf academy as a Professional Golf Clubmaker and he tried to scam me out of 45,000 worth of Stock and clubmaking equipment. But on this occassion he did'nt manage. but all in all cost me a s**t load of money in flights and recovering my goods. He also scammmed $50,000 from 3 guys at Lake Chapala Golf Club in Guadilahara that I know of. He also purportes to being an ex playing PGA golf professional another blatant lie, the S. Wilson on the European PGA site is a Sandy Wilson who currently is the Golf Pro at Stoke on Trent Golf Club. I have the verification from The R & A at St Andrews Another one of his claims is that he is a PGA registered teaching pro, another lie, the PGA have informed me that they would be very interested in speaking to our Mr Wilson. and another claim that he has been a Professional Clubmaker for over 30 years. I taught him the basic skills at my workshop for a week in February 2005. So even by my simple Maths that makes it just over 4 years. And now thanks to your report with his new address I have informed some of the Directors of the Puerto Vallarta Golf Academy of his new address and have had two replies already. He has scammed these people out of around $800,000 US dollars in Puerta Vallarta and is also wanted by authorities in a few countries over his thieving and scams. It's funny how you mention that they were away on a cruise. That is exactly what they did whilst in Mexico, with the investors money. I am now tracking down the company that own The Swan to alert them what they have at the helm. And may even pop in for a visit to the Swan. Anyone having any dealings or thinking about dealing with Wilson then just wave goodbye to your hard earned cash. This guy is really the lowest scum of the earth. And has scammed and stole peoples hard earned cash, and a good honest day's work would kill him. And if your reading this Wilson then get Pauline to start making you Prison type Food because that is where you are going very shortly. Jim Fraser

Whoever wrote the BS rebuttal needs to get his facts straight. PV Golf Academy opened in August 2005 and closed its doors permanently in April 2006.In that time Wilson went through several hundred thousand USD in operating cash provided by the investors and left them with nothing to show for their trust in him. To quote one of the investors and former directors, "Wilson was a terrible businessman and could never tell the truth". Wilson left Mexico very hastily in February 2008 just a couple of steps ahead of a court order for his arrest on fraud charges. The order was obtained based on information provided by the board of directors and accountants for Puerto Vallarta Golf Academy. The order is still valid and Wilson will be arrested if tries to return to Mexico. In addition, he is not eligible to return because on his previous stay he violated numerous provisions of the immigration, labor, and tax codes. Far from supporting him, most of the former PV Golf directors would love to see him locked up. Rob Engle had absolutely nothing to do with this and is nothing more than a distraction created by Wilson himself. Verdad Toronto, Ontario

As a Director of the Puerto Vallarta Golf Academy, I can assure you that this report is untrue. The Academy opened for business on August 1st 2006. It was built by a consortium of business men for less than 1/3rd of the sum reported in this article. Wilson was one of the shareholders and has been the victim of a smear campaign by a former disgraced employee of the academy called Robert Engle. Engle was fired because of a sexually devient act against a junior employee of the academy and he has since been uncovered as a previously convicted felon from New Mexico in the USA. He was deported from Mexico by the Federal police in March of 2007 and is now employed by a firm of Time share scammers. His vendetta against Wilson is well documented in Mexico and this report is yet one more designed to cause Wilson maximum embarrassment. The diectors and board of the academy are 100% behind Wilson and to date, no wrongdoing has been reported. Our sympathies lie with Wilson and his family, this cant be easy to bear.
