Samuels Construction, Wayne Samuels Couldn’t remodel my laundry room properly. Construction nightmare! Trenton / Hamilton New Jersey
On a scale of 1 - 5 here, they owe points in a big way. I was referred to Samuels through Design Build Pros.Com to remodel my 15'x8' Laundry Room. The first week they were there they worked a total of 14.25-hrs. Out of 40, with taking Wednesday and Friday off because of some excuse of not having either the material on hand or trade that couldn't get there on time. The second week (Labor Day Monday - Off) Tuesday work - 6-hrs! Wednesday & Thursday - No Show! Wayne Samuels came for the Sink Money that Thursday, and then tried to hit-me-up for the 3rd progress payment, which wasn't due until back splash was in according to the Contract Documents. Therefore, no payment, he reluctantly left a bit perturbed that he didn't get his 3rd payment. By Friday I had enough and he was fired! I asked him to come pick-up his stuff, drop off sink, and get out paid in full. Over 2-weeks to hang cabinets, cut a small cubby closet in and put some tile in with, a backsplash, sliding door and some paint which he tried to justify $940.00 to paint a room the size of a big closet. Had a REAL contractor come in, 1 - day to review the mess and in 2 - days labor! DONE! I would NOT recommend this contractor to build or remodel so much as a doghouse, let alone your house.
