San Bernardino Juvenille Public Defenders, DA, and Judical Procedures held mentally disabled boy against his will for 2 hours, back of unmarked car until he confessed ripoff San Bernardino Redlands California
Redlands detectives went to my sons middle school and removed him from class (special ed.)to talk to him. Once in the office, detectives told the principal they were taking my son for a ride.
When the principal said he would notify me (parent)of the situation detectives threatened to arrest him for interfering with a police investigation. My son was 14 at the time but has a well documented medical history the school was quite aware of.
His iEP's include a history of pschological impairments including separation anxiety and ADHD both being treated with medications.He is learning disabled.and has a history of depression ect ect. No one ever bothered to notify me of the situation for 2 hours.
That cop had him locked inside the back of an unmarked police car all that time.Yelling and screaming calling him a liar.
Until my son finally admitted to 10 counts of feloney vandlism.
The poor kid was taken to juvenille hall.they never once let me see or talk to him except on the phone in the lobby for 2 seconds.
Still the police would not listen to his mental conditions or medications.
He arrived at the hall at 12 am. The intake nurse called me at 3am and let me talk to my son for over an hour to attempt to calm him down.
I was told to be ther at 6 am to pick him up. they coukdnt calm him down he just cried and asked for me. yet police say he never asked for me anyway. we didnt get a far hearing and our pub def was switched 5 or 6 times. the judge never even knew he had any pchcological problems
they ordered a psch eval after the trial was over and he was fgound guilty. but no one ever read the report which only ampified my claims.
my son was railroaded because a cop had to close a few cases to get grant funding to purchase wireless servallence equeptment
the witnesses they had to place him at the scene were convicted and registered sex offenders both currently living 2 blocks from his school.
If the pshc report would have been ordered before the motion hearing to stop the taped confession. they would never have gotten this far.
this is a kid who struggles to deal with all of his personal issues but now is a ward of the court and if he does anything wrong he will be taken from me, formal probation and no pens markers paint ect. or he is gone
I had to take away a present he got for x-mas because it was a doddle art with markers. he is years below his peers and no one really cares that he is now part of the system and his life could he shattered if he gets into any mishap. His ADHD alone is challanging now I have to get him to understand the importance of community servise, and the fines!
NO MATTER IF YOUR NOT GUILTY . AS LONG AS SOMEONE PAYS.
THERE IS NO JUSTICE IN JUV COURT. EVERYONE IS GUILTY. THAT JUDGE NEEDS TO RETIRE HE'S BEEN BOUGHT AND PAID FOR ONE 2 MANY TIMES

Well instead of the Juv. Court using just one registered sex offender to be a witness,they used two.And have added names to the restitution list that have never been mentioned in any police reports or in the DA's complaint he filed in court/When asked how this happened they said things change.So I pressed further and was told back in sept 2006 the complaint was amended adding this unknown person.Which I was ordered to pay $500.00 in restitution to him. I feel so bad for the families that will go thru the same system and cant hire a real lawyer. There is no real justice being served in that court. How can a court ignore a phyc.evaluation that they ordered!! They did.I had no say in what the public defendered decided in the case they only let my son make final decisions yet I have to pay back over $2500.00 in cort fines and restitution. I wish someone out there cared enough for the lives they destroy to do a under cover investigation some how. Cause they would be in for a real shock live and learn i guess

Yes,this really happened.This is just the surface though.The same cop went to the public housing authority manager in the projects where I lived and made them evict us for criminal activity. The detective was the witness at the eviction hearing.I filed my answer and went to court.I had letters from all my sons doctors,gave it to the attorney.He went out into the hall with detctive and manager when he came back he said he would like to ask for a continuance to reevaluate the situation .Like a fool I said yes. When we returned for the next court date I was told we defaulted the week before TOTAL LIES. ANYWAY thats another ordeal I am dealing with. Back to your time line question. My son was taken from school at 3 pm school ended at 3:15. the detective stopped by the house to say they were arresting my son.I went down to the station and was never able to see my son. I told them of his medical conditions. they left for the county hospital to get clearance to take him to the juv.hall. he got there at midnight.By 3 am they still could not calm him down. that was when they called me and i talked to him for over an hour. doors opened in the lobby at 6 am they told me to be there then .and released him to me. this all happened in march 2006. we go to the restitution hearing on jan 22,actually we were told its an attorney only hearing but we can go if we want. NICE HUH THIS IS A REAL NIGHTMARE

GET A LAWYER! And we don't mean the know it all Steve from Florida! We mean get a real lawyer, a great deal is at stake. Trust NO ONE that posts any advice on this board, they are not lawyers and for the most part do more harm than good. Call the San Bernardino County Legal Aid Socitey and get a lawyer from them, not a para legal, not Steve from Florida (were sure he will be giving you his advice on this post soon enough), but a real lawyer. You may have a huge law suit if what your saying is correct so a good attorney will take this without fee's, just a percent of the settlement. San Bernardino Juvenille Public Defenders office looks to be in deep crap also. Trust and listen to no one but a good attorney. Good luck and let us know how it works out.

This posts has some serious issues. Any decent attorney ought to be able to handle it. Also, I wonder about your time line. It doesn't add up. If he was picked up at school and you state "he arrive at the hall at 12 am and the intake nurse called me at 3 am". I wonder what happened between the time he was suppose to get out of school and 12 am? Did you not wonder where he was? Also, I'd have something to say to the spineless principal and school board IF that's what really happened.
