Sanford-Brown school is a Rip-Off. I went in desperate for an education and wanting to get an ultrasound tech license. This school preys on the less fortunate, the less knowledable and the people desperately seeking a better future. I went to this school in 2002 and was promised jobs after finishing the school. I graduated and no one told me the state test would be so expensive. Being so young I was not able to pay the fees and I only had a year to come up with the money. I was also told to sign here and here and here not really realizing what I was doing and signed for $11,000 in loans that I am still paying on in 2016. I was told I couldnt apply to take my test until I paid the school $300 that was not covered by loans. All this after I had already finished the course. I went in wanting to be an ultrasound tech and they told me that due to my background and test results I could only to the medical assistant program. After I couldnt get a job with this education I went to my local college and they wouldnt let me get a loan because I owed this school so much money and this school tried to put like 80 hours on my transcript. Which was horrible because after a certain amount of hours the state does not want to give you any loans because it feels you should have a degree by now. This school is a joke! Never go to one of these kind of schools! Later I found out that my local community college offers this same course for $2000 and is way better. Save your money! Dont let your kids waste their time!! Send them to a community college that is not scandalous like these kind.
