Complaint Review: Scamps Pet Center - Portland Oregon

In 1994 my family purchaced what we were told was a purebreed papered keeschound. we never received the papers we were told we would and bugged them about it for months with no avail. one night when i was sleeping i awoke to our dog having violent seizures. we took him to the vet and found out that he was a result of inbreeding and that there is no way that the pet store could not have noticed that the dog was having seizures. when we confronted them about this they denied any knowelege and insisted he was purebread and papered but still could no produce any papers whatsoever. we had already had the dog for several months and had become really attached so we had no choice but to take care of him ourselves.we ended up having to eat the costs of his vet bills and since then we have paid thousands in medications. all i can tell you is that we guarantee you the cat is not papered and is not purebreed. we beleive this store should be shut down or a new owner with some morals maybe.
