I worked with this company several times and have yet to be paid. Actually, I was paid once and it was 3 weeks late. The owner is rude and only nice when she needs you to work. Otherwise she is condescending, nasty, and won't take calls or emails. I have been booked for several jobs then cancelled last minute for no reason. They play games all the time. Beware working for them!

I've read the above complaint. I have worked for Scannell for 2 years, and I have NEVER found them to be late on a check or to EVER have them cancel any of my promos last minute! Their staff is very thorough. You must have not turned in a promo sheet properly. All employees must save all promo sheets and receipts until they have their check in hand for that month. This eliminates any misunderstandings. And as far as the owner goes, she has owned the company for 12 years and is extremely professional , NEVER rude and always treats me with respect.

On behalf of Scannell Productions, Inc. I would like to refute the above statement. With more than 3,000 models and demonstrators across the state of Florida we run a professional, efficient company. We staff a wide variety of promotional events and are at the mercy of those who request our services. As an agency, we value our models/demonstrators and alert them immediately when our office receives notice of a change or cancellation.

Paychecks are distributed in a timely manner during the first week of every month. If the above-author was not paid for an event, it was likely due to their absence or inability to return required documentation proving he/she completed the promotion.

Moreover, we at Scannell Productions take criticism graciously. The owner, as well as supporting staff, are always available to speak with. If the writer feels there was a breakdown in communication, we sincerely apologize. While we are sadden by this report and the authors inability to tell us directly, we feel it is an opportunity to improve our company for the better. We will move forward and be mindful of this issue in the future.

If you have any questions or comments regarding this, or any matter, you may contact Scannell Productions at 813.251.4805 or by visitng ScannellProductions.com.   Thank you.
